Antonio
Pantin
Antonio Pantin (203-C/F-88) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Lan Mobel ISB, receiving a Eurobasket.com LEB Silver Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Palma (#8, 2-2) 97-86. It allowed Lan Mobel ISB to take over top position in the Spanish LEB Silver. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Lan Mobel ISB already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. Pantin turned to be Lan Mobel ISB's top player in his first season with the team. Antonio Pantin has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 15.7ppg) and averages impressive 1.3bpg and 64.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 31-year old Albert Ausina (203-C/F-81) of Castello. Ausina had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Castello lost that game 64-80 to slightly higher-ranked Prat Juventud (#9, 1-3). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Castello dropped in the standings to second-to-the-bottom (10th) position. 3 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Ausina is a newcomer at Castello, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.3ppg (#3). He also registered 10.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Senegalese center Mamadou Niang (209-C-94) of La Palma (#11). Niang scored 17 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). Despite Niang's great performance La Palma lost 63-70 to the higher-ranked Aurteneche M. (#2, 3-1). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. La Palma can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 4 games. Too bad for Niang he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Niang has a very solid season. In 4 games in Spain he scored 9.5ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Alex Arcelus (196-F-85) of Aurteneche M. - 18 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Moussa Diagne (210-C-94) of Avila - 8 points and 14 rebounds
6. Gabriel Torres (198-F-89) of Palma - 21 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Alex Ros (192-G-83) of Prat Juventud - 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Riley Luettgerodt (196-G/F-85) of Avila - 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Will Hanley (200-G/F-90) of Oviedo CB - 14 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Joseba Ibargutxi (190-G-82) of Lan Mobel ISB - 18 points, 2 rebounds and 7 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
