We bring you last week's top performances from Spaniards who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Jose Manuel Calderon
Jose Manuel Calderon
#1. This week's number one is an international point guard Jose Manuel Calderon (192-81, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. He could not help the Toronto Raptors (2-6) in their last game. Despite Calderon's very good performance the Toronto Raptors lost in a triple overtime (!!!) 133-140 on the road to the Utah Jazz. He had a double-double by scoring 20 points and making 17 passes. Calderon also added and 3 steals in 50 minutes on the court. It was Raptors' fourth consecutive loss in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Calderon's eighth year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Calderon averages: 11.3ppg, 2.1rpg, 6.9apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 39.1%, 3FGP: 53.3%(16-30) in the eight games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Spanish senior national team.

Serge Ibaka
Serge Ibaka
#2. Second place goes to an international power forward Serge Ibaka (208-89, currently plays in NBA). Ibaka led Oklahoma City Thunder to a victory over the Detroit Pistons (0-8) 105-94 in the NBA last Friday. He was MVP of the game. Ibaka scored 25 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and made 3 blocks. The Oklahoma City Thunder has a solid 6-2 record this season. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Ibaka has very high stats. He averages: 14.1ppg, 6.6rpg, 3.6bpg, 2FGP: 57.1%(44-77), 3FGP: 14.3% and FT: 91.7%(22-24). Ibaka has a dual citizenship: Congolese and Spanish. Ex-C.B. L'Hospitalet player is in the roster of the Spanish senior national team.

Pau Gasol
Pau Gasol
#3. The Spanish player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Pau Gasol (213-80, currently plays in NBA). Gasol was the major contributor in a Los Angeles Lakers' victory against the Golden State Warriors (3-3) crushing them 101-77 in the NBA in Friday night's game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 16 rebounds. Gasol also added 2 blocks. The Los Angeles Lakers have 3-4 record this season. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. Gasol is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fifth year in Lakers' roster. This season he has very high stats. Gasol averages: 13.8ppg, 9.9rpg, 3.3apg, 1.5bpg, 2FGP: 41.3% and FT: 87.5%. He is also a member of the Spanish senior national team.

Marc Gasol
Marc Gasol
#4. Center Marc Gasol (216-85, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in NBA) contributed to an easy victory against the Milwaukee Bucks (4-2) 108-90 in the NBA last Wednesday. Gasol scored 14 points, had 9 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 37 minutes. The Memphis Grizzlies have 4-1 record this season. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Gasol has been at the team for five years. He has very impressive stats this season: 14.2ppg, 7.3rpg, 5.2apg and 1.2bpg in the six games. Gasol is also Spanish national team player.

Albert Miralles
Albert Miralles
#5. Former international center Albert Miralles (208-82, also represented by Interperformances, currently plays in Euroleague) was not able to help ALBA Berlin (2-3) in their game against Maccabi T-A (5-0) in the Euroleague. He scored 9 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. But the third-placed ALBA Berlin was edged 78-76 in Tel-Aviv by the leading Maccabi T-A in the group B of Euroleague. It was ALBA Berlin's third consecutive loss in a row. Miralles' overall stats this season are: 6.8ppg and 5.6rpg. He used to play for the Spanish national team seven years ago.

Daniel Munoz
Daniel Munoz
#6. Guard Daniel Munoz (183-87, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to American's victory against the Quinnipiac College 61-55 in the NCAA last Monday.
