The game between Top Four teams took place in Malaga. Second ranked host Clinicas Rincon (5-2) defeated 3rd placed Fontedoso Carrefour (4-3) 71-60. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Clinicas Rincon. Fontedoso Carrefour managed to win third quarter 23-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Clinicas Rincon won last quarter 16-7. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Fontedoso Carrefour to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Clinicas Rincon forced 25 Fontedoso Carrefour turnovers. It was a great evening for center Malick Fall (210-C-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 12 points and 7 rebounds. Bosnian-Serbian forward Dejan Todorovic (-94) helped adding 11 points. At the losing side American swingman Riley Luettgerodt (196-85, college: Hawaii, agency: I.D.S. Law) responded with 28 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Clinicas Rincon have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 5-2 record having just -1 point less than leader Guadalajara. Fontedoso Carrefour at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Clinicas Rincon are looking forward to face Castello (#10) in Castellon in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Fontedoso Carrefour will have a break next round.
LEB Silver top team - CB Guadalajara (5-1) added another victory to their record. This time they beat fifth ranked Oviedo CB (3-3) 86-81. It was a quality performance for center Jose Balmon (204-81) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Sergio Llorente accounted for 23 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). American-Irish swingman Will Hanley (200-90, college: Bowdoin, agency: Duran International) came up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field) for Oviedo CB in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. CB Guadalajara have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted CB Guadalajara maintains first place with 5-1 record. Oviedo CB at the other side dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. CB Guadalajara will play against Lan Mobel ISB (#4) in Azpeitia in the next round. Oviedo CB will play on the road against Cafes Aitona in San Sebastian and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked La Palma (0-6) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their sixth consecutive match to tenth ranked Prat Juventud (3-4) 87-79 on Saturday evening. Albert Homs fired 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Anaterve Cruz produced 26 points for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Prat Juventud moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Palma. Loser La Palma still closes the standings with six games lost. Prat Juventud will meet higher ranked Aurteneche M. (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. La Palma will play against Palma (#7) in S'Arenal and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Lan Mobel ISB's next round opponent will be league's leader CB Guadalajara on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. Castello will play against the league's second-placed Clinicas Rincon (#2) in Malaga.

In the last game of round 7 Cafes Aitona lost to Palma on the opponent's court 56-73.

Fifth ranked Lan Mobel ISB (4-2) crushed at home 9th ranked Castello (2-4) by 19 points 102-83, which is the biggest margin this round. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Castello. The game was mostly controlled by Lan Mobel ISB. Castello was better in third quarter 25-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Lan Mobel ISB outrebounded Castello 34-19 including 21 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Lance Kearse (198, college: Eckerd) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward Antonio Pantin (203-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Lan Mobel ISB players scored in double figures. Lan Mobel ISB's coach Iurgi Caminos allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Power forward David Ortega (199-84) answered with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Jose Maria Garcia (193-87) added 19 points in the effort for Castello. Lan Mobel ISB moved-up to third place, which they share with Aurteneche M. Newly promoted Castello keeps the ninth position with four games lost. Lan Mobel ISB's next round opponent will be league's leader CB Guadalajara on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. LEB Silver top team - CB Guadalajara (5-1) added another victory to their record. This time they beat fifth ranked Oviedo CB (3-3) 86-81. The guests were already 14 points ahead at halftime and as many as 20 after three quarters before a 29-14 last quarter charge of Oviedo CB cut the lead to 86-81 at the end of the game. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Clinicas Rincon won last quarter 16-7. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Fontedoso Carrefour to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Clinicas Rincon forced 25 Fontedoso Carrefour turnovers. It was a great evening for center Malick Fall (210-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 12 points and 7 rebounds. Bosnian-Serbian forward Dejan Todorovic (-94) helped adding 11 points.
