The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

Eleventh-ranked Caceres Basket (3-7) was very close to win a game against second ranked Ford Burgos (8-2) on Friday. Ford Burgos managed to secure only three-point victory 91-88. However their fans expected much easier game. Caceres Basket cut a 18-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Alberto Miguel (188-77) who helped to win the game recording 20 points. Power forward Josep Ortega (201-84) contributed with 10 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Dutch-British guard Devon Van Oostrum (190-93) replied with 14 points and 8 assists for Caceres Basket. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ford Burgos have an impressive six-game winning streak. Ford Burgos maintains second position with 8-2 record behind leader Andorra. Caceres Basket lost third consecutive game. Caceres Basket at the other side dropped to the twelfth place with seven games lost. Ford Burgos is looking forward to face CB Clavijo (#7) in Logrono in the next round where they are favorite. Caceres Basket will play at home against Lobe Huesca (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Bottom-ranked Melilla Baloncesto managed to get a second victory, breaking the eight-game losing streak. This time they edged thirteenth-ranked Ourense 76-75. German power forward Kiril Wachsmann (203-83, college: Iona, agency: Edge Sports) had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Hector Manzano chipped in 18 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American guard Nick Barbour (190-89, college: High Point) responded with 24 points. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Melilla Baloncesto (2-8) moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with defeated Ourense. Melilla Baloncesto will play against higher ranked Leyma Basquet (#6) in Coruna in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Ourense will play on the road against Lleida Basquet (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of CB Clavijo. Daniel Perez notched 10 points and 9 assists to lead the effort. Even 15 points and 5 rebounds by David Mesa did not help to save the game for CB Clavijo. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted River Andorra maintains first position with 9-1 record. Loser CB Clavijo dropped to the sixth place with five games lost. They share the position with FCB Regal II and Coruna. River Andorra will meet FCB Regal II (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CB Clavijo will play against the league's second-placed Ford Burgos and hope to secure a win.

Leche Rio Breogan will play against Palencia Baloncesto and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Important game to mention about took place in Huesca. Twelfth ranked Lobe Huesca (4-6) saved a 2-point victory at home edging higher ranked Palencia Baloncesto (6-4) 82-80 on Friday evening. It was a very good performance for Sandi Cebular who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 4 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Lobe Huesca have a solid three-game winning streak. Lobe Huesca moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Forca Lleida and Planasa NV. Loser Palencia Baloncesto keeps the fourth position with four games lost. Lobe Huesca will face Caceres Basket (#12) on the road in the next round. Palencia Baloncesto will play against Leche Rio Breogan (#4) in Lugo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 10 Coruna was beaten by Lucentum on the road 81-65. FCB Regal II lost to Forca Lleida on its own court 65-76.



Lucentum - Coruna 81-65

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Meridiano Alicante (7-3) beat at home 6th ranked Leyma Basquet (5-5) 81-65 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 51-29 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Meridiano Alicante looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a very good performance for American forward Shaun Green (203-87, college: Utah) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 5 rebounds. point guard Albert Sabat (187-85) contributed with 14 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four Meridiano Alicante players scored in double figures. Forward Asier Zengotitabengoa (200-88) replied with 18 points and 9 rebounds and Ivorian-American forward Jonathan Kale (203-85, college: Providence) added 14 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Leyma Basquet. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Meridiano Alicante maintains third position with 7-3 record having just two points less than leader Andorra. Leyma Basquet lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth place with five games lost. Meridiano Alicante will face Planasa NV (#10) in Pamplona in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Leyma Basquet will play at home against Melilla Baloncesto (#13).

LEB Gold top team - River Andorra (9-1) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat seventh ranked CB Clavijo (5-5) 79-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of CB Clavijo. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But CB Clavijo won fourth quarter 20-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Point guard Daniel Perez (188-90) notched 10 points and 9 assists to lead the effort and naturalized Russian power forward Dmitry Flis (203-84) supported him with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Even 15 points and 5 rebounds by center David Mesa (202-80) did not help to save the game for CB Clavijo. Guard Alberto Ruiz de Galarreta (198-83) added 17 points for lost side. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 24-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Lleida Basquet forced 20 FCB Regal II turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Lleida Basquet especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. FCB Regal II was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for point guard Jose Simeon (187-91) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 7 assists and 4 steals.
