The Paraguayan player Paola Ferrari is in Salamanca to continue his recovery from injury with the players and coaching staff of Club Basketball Perfume Avenue. The ex-player of Sller, where he remained for four years until the demise of the Balearic club, suffered a major knee injury early last summer and is currently without a club. Paola has requested to travel to Salamanca and have the opportunity to work daily with Avenida, which has had no reluctance to help this great player. It is not, therefore, a signing, but to collaborate with Ferrari in these final moments of his injury.
Paola will train with the club's trainer, David Norea, as well as the players and coaches on the team daily until complete its recovery and fitness so much as already made with Marta Blancos early season. Miguel Mendez leaves Rivas Ecopolis and will continue his career abroad. The Spanish Specialist left the team after two years.
Last year Miguel Mendez became Spanish LFB Cup Winner -13, Spanish LFB Regular Season Champion -13 and Spanish LFB Finalist -13. Tintos de Toro Caja Rural Zamora (LFB) landed 22-year old Latvian ex-international forward Linda Rubene (190-91). She just graduated from Indiana (NCAA). The last season Rubene also at Indiana University in Big Ten Conference in the NCAA. But in 24 games she averaged only 1.7ppg and 1.3rpg. As mentioned above she is just out of the college and it is her first season in pro basketball. Rubene was also a member of Latvian international program for some years. She played for Latvian Senior National Team in 2010 and previously for U18 National Team in 2009. Rubene represented Latvia at the European Championships U20 in Liepaja (Latvia) three years ago. Her team won Bronze and her stats at that event were 9 games: 0.9ppg. Rubene has played previously for 47.vsk and SK Riga.
