It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 21-point difference suggests that Melilla Baloncesto is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. Melilla Baloncesto outrebounded CB Clavijo 38-22 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Francisco Sanchez (201-79) who scored 24 points. point guard Jose Antonio Marco (180-89) chipped in 10 points and 13 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Lithuanian center Deividas Busma (212-87, college: Idaho St., agency: Two Points) who recorded 16 points and 7 rebounds. Melilla Baloncesto is looking forward to face higher ranked FCB Regal II (#12) in Barcelona in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
