It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Clinicas Rincon. The game was mostly controlled by Oviedo CB. Clinicas Rincon managed to win second period 18-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Oviedo CB forced 19 Clinicas Rincon turnovers. It was a good game for forward Hector Macia (198-77) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 5 rebounds. American-Irish swingman Will Hanley (200-90, college: Bowdoin, agency: Duran International) contributed with 11 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Guard Luis Conde (193-93) answered with 21 points for Clinicas Rincon. Clinicas Rincon's coach Francis Tome rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Oviedo CB have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Oviedo CB keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Guadalajara. Clinicas Rincon at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. Oviedo CB is looking forward to face Lan Mobel ISB (#5) in Azpeitia in the next round. Clinicas Rincon will play on the road against Aurteneche M. in Vitoria-Gasteiz and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
