Here is the weekly review of the top performing Spanish players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is former international forward Alba Torrens (188-89, currently plays in Euroleague). She led her Turkish team Galatasaray to a victory over the fifth-ranked USK Praha (5-7) 78-63 in the Euroleague in Friday night's game. Torrens was MVP of the game. She scored 20 points in 34 minutes on the court. Galatasaray M.P. Istanbul (9-3) is placed second in group C. This year Torrens averages: 8.0ppg, 1.7rpg, 2FGP: 54.2%, 3FGP: 25.0% and FT: 76.5% in the six games she played so far. She played for the Spanish senior national team two years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to an international center Sancho Lyttle (192-83, college: Houston, currently plays in Euroleague) is a teammate of previously mentioned Alba Torrens and both played together in the last Euroleague game. Lyttle was the major contributor in Galatasaray's victory against the fifth-ranked USK Praha (5-7) 78-63. She recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 10 rebounds. It's Lyttle's first season with the team. Lyttle is ranked third on the list of the most steals in the league. She has very reliable stats this season: 11.2ppg, 7.6rpg, 1.1apg, 2.6spg, 2FGP: 44.9% and FT: 59.4%. Lyttle has a dual citizenship: Vincentian and Spanish. Ex-EBE Promociones P.D.V. Santa Eulalia player is in the roster of the Spanish senior national team.

   #3. The Spanish player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced international guard Laia Palau (176-79, currently plays in Euroleague). She contributed to a 3-point CCC Polkowice's victory against the closely-ranked Nadezhda Orenburg (8-4) 74-71 in the Euroleague on Tuesday night. Palau recorded 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in 38 minutes. CCC Polkowice (6-6) is placed third in group C. Palau is ranked first on the list of the best passers in the league with 6.7apg. This year her other stats are: 7.8ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.9spg, 2FGP: 37.9%, 3FGP: 32.1% and FT: 59.3% in the 14 games. Palau is also a member of the Spanish senior national team.

   #4. Center Cindy Lima (196-81, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Hungary could not help UNI Gyor (5-7) in their last game. Despite her very good performance the fifth-placed UNI Gyor was crushed 93-61 on the road by the second-ranked Fenerbahce in the group A of Euroleague. Lima had a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 11 rebounds in 27 minutes. Lima has relatively good stats this year: 15.0ppg, 9.0rpg and 1.5spg in the two games. She is also Spanish national team player.

   #5. Former international point guard Nuria Martinez (175-84, currently plays in Turkey) was not able to help Kayseri (15-5) in their game against Mersin (15-5) in the Turkish TKBL. Martinez scored 8 points, made 3 passes and 4 steals. Kayseri was defeated 76-65 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked Mersin (#4). Martinez's overall stats this season are: 7.7ppg, 2.4rpg, 1.9apg and 1.4spg. She used to play for the Spanish national team three years ago.

Guard Elisa Aguilar (172-76, also represented by Josep and Nicolas, college: G.Washington, currently plays in Euroleague) managed to help Spartak Vidnoe Moscow Region to win against the fifth-ranked CSM Targoviste (4-8) 68-63 in the Euroleague last Friday. She scored only 4 points. Spartak Vidnoe Moscow Region (10-2) is placed first in group A. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Aguilar's overall stats this season are: 5.4ppg, 1.8rpg and 2.2apg. She is an international player who is currently on the senior Spanish National Team roster.

   #7. International forward Tamara Abalde (190-89, another player represented by Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in France) was not able to secure a victory for Basket Landes (11-9) in their game against Lyon (12-8) in the French LFB. She cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. Abalde scored only 2 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 12 minutes. Basket Landes was badly defeated 69-53 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked (#4) Lyon. This year Abalde's overall stats are: 6.1ppg and 2.8rpg in the 19 games. She is also Spanish national team player.

   #8. Center Celia Menendez (188-90, currently plays in Belgium) contributed to a R.Spirou Monceau's victory against the closely-ranked Jeugd Gentson (5-15) 48-42 in the Belgian Division I last Sunday. She scored only 4 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Spirou Monceau Charleroi (7-12) is placed seventh in the Division I. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This season Menendez has relatively solid stats: 10.5ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.3spg. She used to play for the Spanish U20 national team back in 2010.

The list of other players, who all have Spanish passport but never been selected to any of Spanish national teams:

   #1. Natasha Lacy (178-PG-85, agency: Merit Sports, college: UTEP, currently plays in Euroleague) contributed to a Good Angels' victory against the fourth-ranked Perfumerias Avenida (5-7) 74-64 in the Euroleague in Friday night's game. She scored 8 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Good Angels Kosice (9-3) is placed first in group B. It was her team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. Lacy's overall stats this season are: 7.9ppg, 5.6rpg, 3.6apg and 1.7spg.

   #2. Helena Boada (174-G-87, agency: Regeneracom Sports, currently plays in Slovenia), who plays in the Slovenian SKL could not help Domzale (5-11) in their last game. Despite Boada's very good performance Domzale lost 68-82 on the road to the leading Athlete Celje. She was the top scorer with 31 points in 39 minutes. The Regular Season already ended. Boada is currently first on the list of top scorers and also on the list of best passers (second place). She has individually a very good year with high stats. Boada averages: 25.8ppg, 6.0rpg, 3.9apg and 4.1spg in the 13 games she played so far.

   #3. Jessica Adair (193-C-86, agency: LBM Management, college: G.Washington, currently plays in Australia) was the major contributor in a Townsville Fire's victory against the closely-ranked Adelaide Lightning (18-6) 60-53 in the Australian WNBL on Saturday night. Adair recorded 10 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks in 25 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Townsville Fire (13-11) is placed fourth in the WNBL. Adair is currently seventh on the league's list of best rebounders with 6.9rpg. This year her other stats are: 10.7ppg and 1.3spg in the 17 games.

   #4. Lorena Infantes (171-PG-81, also represented by Regeneracom Sports, currently plays in Turkey) helped Canik Bld win their game against the league outsider Edremit (1-19) crushing them 76-49 in the Turkish TKBL in Sunday night's game. Infantes scored 8 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 6 assists. Canik Belediyesi (8-12) is placed tenth in the TKBL. Infantes' overall stats this season are: 7.6ppg, 4.4rpg, 5.6apg and 1.4spg.

   #5. Experienced Valentina Aragonese (173-F-79, agency: Players Group, currently plays in Italy) was not able to help Ancona (12-9) in their game against S. La Spezia (15-5) in the Italian A2 (12th division). Aragonese recorded 5 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Ancona (#6) was defeated 64-57 in La Spezia by the higher-ranked S. La Spezia (#4) in the South group. The Regular Season already ended. Aragonese's total stats this season are: 9.8ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.7apg and 1.7spg. She has a dual citizenship: Chilean and Spanish.

   #6. Laura Garcia (176-G-81, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in France) was not able to secure a victory for Union Hainaut in their game against Charleville-Mezieres in the French LFB. Garcia cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. She scored only 2 points in 10 minutes. Her team lost 75-90. This year Garcia's total stats are: 9.6ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.5apg and 1.3spg in the 20 games.   

Juana Molina-Prados agreed terms with Gernika - 11 hours ago
Gernika Bizkaia (LFB) inked 26-year old point guard Juana Molina-Prados (172-91) from Campus Promete. In 24 LFB games she recorded 5.7ppg, 2.8rpg and 1.7apg last season. Among other achievements Molina-Prados' team won Spanish LF2 Group A Regular Season in 2015. She received also All-Spanish LF2 1st Team award in 2015. Umo Diallo signs at Araski - 18 hours ago
ADB Araski Arabako Emakumeen Saskibaloia (LFB) landed 19-year old center Umo Diallo (192-98) from Campus Promete. But in 9 LFB games she averaged just 1.9ppg and 1.1rpg last season. Part of previous (2015-16) season Diallo spent at Sant Adria (LF2) where in 10 games she had 5.3ppg and 2.7rpg. She helped them to make it to the final. Campus Promete keeps Knight for another season - 18 hours ago
Campus Promete Logrono (LFB) re-signed 31-year old American power forward Leslie Knight (184-86). She has played there for the last three seasons. In 26 LFB games she averaged 12.7ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.4apg last season. Among other achievements Knight's team made it to the Swiss LNA Semifinals in 2009.
