The teams have now bigger motivation at this stage of Regular Season. Every game can be crucial and decide about teams' position at the end of Regular Season. The round was exceptionally exciting as three games ended with a tiny margin. There was no lack of interesting games this round. The round ended with favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

The game between second ranked CB Granada (18-8) and eighth ranked Moron (14-11) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. CB Granada was crushed by Moron in Granada 97-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of CB Granada. The game was mostly controlled by Moron. CB Granada managed to win fourth quarter 25-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Moron shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. Croatian forward Leo Cizmic (206-98) stepped up and scored 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and the former international power forward Jesus Chagoyen (202-78) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side Jamaican forward Tyran De-Lattibeaudiere (201-91, college: Lamar) responded with 16 points and 9 rebounds. CB Granada's coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Moron moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Valladolid. CB Granada at the other side dropped to the third position with eight games lost. Moron is looking forward to face higher ranked Fontedoso Carrefour (#5) in Avila in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. CB Granada will play on the road against Meridiano Alicante and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Bottom-ranked Zamorano managed to get a sixth victory, breaking the series of six consecutive losses. This time newly promoted Zamorano won against fifth-ranked Fontedoso Carrefour in Avila 97-85. American guard Chris Hansen (193-93, college: Idaho St.) nailed 25 points for the winning side and Jeffrey Solarin accounted for 16 points and 10 rebounds. Zamorano's coach Saulo Hernandez allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Connor Beranek (198-94, college: Nebraska-Kearney, agency: Duran International) came up with 21 points and 8 rebounds for Fontedoso Carrefour in the defeat. Zamorano (6-19) moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Albacete. Fontedoso Carrefour lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with ten games lost. Zamorano will play against higher ranked Alcazar (#8) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fontedoso Carrefour will play against Moron in Moron de la Frontera and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
LEB Silver top team - Sammic ISB (19-6) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat eighth ranked Zornotza (13-12) in Azpeitia 89-82. Ander Garcia fired 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Khalid Mutakabbir produced 25 points and 4 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sammic ISB have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 19-6 record. Loser Zornotza keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Alcazar and Navarra. Sammic ISB will meet at home Blancos de Rueda (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Zornotza will play against L'Hospitalet and hope to secure a win.
A very interesting game took place in Valladolid. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked Navarra (13-12) to ninth ranked Blancos de Rueda (14-11) 68-66 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Navarra. Worth to mention a great performance of Rowell Graham who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds. Blancos de Rueda's coach Inaki Martin Garcia used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Blancos de Rueda moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Moron. Navarra at the other side keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. Blancos de Rueda's next round opponent will be league's leader Sammic ISB in Azpeitia and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Navarra will play on the road against Albacete (#15) and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the LEB Gold just one year after relegation.
Important game to mention about took place in Alcazar. Tenth ranked Alcazar (13-12) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 11th ranked Agustinos-Leclerc (11-14) 77-75 on Saturday evening. Ignacio Diaz stepped up and scored 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Alcazar's coach David Varela used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Alcazar moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Navarra and Zornotza. Agustinos-Leclerc at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eleventh position with 14 games lost. Alcazar will face bottom-ranked Zamorano (#16) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Agustinos-Leclerc will play against Gandia (#14) and hope to win that game.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 25: Lucentum won against L'Hospitalet on the opponent's court 70-66. Tarragona managed to outperform Albacete in a home game 84-73. Cambados managed to beat Gandia on the road 94-91.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 21 points and 6 rebounds by Mike Karena of Sammic ISB.

Sammic ISB - Zornotza 89-82

LEB Silver top team - Sammic ISB (19-6) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat eighth ranked Zornotza (13-12) in Azpeitia 89-82. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 32-22 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Sammic ISB made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. Swingman Ander Garcia (194-89) fired 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Center Mike Karena (208-93, college: Wright St.) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. American-Jamaican guard Khalid Mutakabbir (193-91, college: Presbyterian, agency: Duran International) produced 25 points and 4 assists and point guard Daniel De-La-Rua (181-97) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Very expected game when 12th ranked L'Hospitalet (9-16) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Meridiano Alicante (17-9) 70-66 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-15. But L'Hospitalet won second period 21-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Meridiano Alicante made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Point guard Alvaro Lobo (192-92, agency: Duran International) stepped up and scored 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and power forward Guillermo Rejon (206-77) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Lobo is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Meridiano Alicante players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Gabriel Diaz-Morera (196-89) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Javi Rodriguez (202-92) scored 16 points. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Meridiano Alicante maintains fourth place with 17-9 record. Newly promoted L'Hospitalet keeps the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Meridiano Alicante will face higher ranked CB Granada (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rather predictable result when thirteenth ranked CB Tarragona 2017 (8-17) defeated at home 15th ranked Albacete (6-19) 84-73 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 41-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Albacete was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Ivorian-American forward Salim Gloyd (198-92, college: Hawaii-Hilo, agency: Dynamics Global Management) stepped up and scored 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and center Ferran Torres (201-88) chipped in 8 points and 15 rebounds. CB Tarragona 2017's coach Bernardo Alvarez used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Icelandic center Ragnar Nathanaelsson (218-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Kris Davis (188-93, college: SIU Edwardsville) scored 20 points. CB Tarragona 2017 maintains thirteenth place with 8-17 record. Newly promoted Albacete keeps the fifteenth position with 19 games lost. Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Gandia (7-18) was edged at home by third ranked Cambados (18-7) 94-91 on Friday. The guests trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 48-38 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. British Matthew Don (201-93, college: Cameron) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) for the winners and American guard Brantley Osborne (193-91, college: Shepherd) chipped in 15 points. Osborne is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side guard Adria Duch (185-95) responded with 18 points and Guinean forward Cheick-Sekou Conde (203-92) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Cambados. They moved-up to second place. Gandia lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with 18 games lost. Cambados will face CB Tarragona 2017 (#13) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Gandia will play against Agustinos-Leclerc in Leon and hope to win that game.

A very interesting game took place in Valladolid. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked Navarra (13-12) to ninth ranked Blancos de Rueda (14-11) 68-66 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Navarra. Navarra was ahead by 7 points after three quarters before a 23-14 charge of Blancos de Rueda, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of British forward Rowell Graham (197-94) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds. Center Sergio De-La-Fuente (198-89) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Blancos de Rueda's coach Inaki Martin Garcia used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Inaki Narros (196-81) answered with 16 points and center Victor Hidalgo (204-86) added 9 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Navarra. Blancos de Rueda moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Moron. Navarra at the other side keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. Blancos de Rueda's next round opponent will be league's leader Sammic ISB in Azpeitia and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Navarra will play on the road against Albacete (#15) and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the LEB Gold just one year after relegation.
