BC Lulea clinch Basketligan title - May 11, 2017

    BC Lulea - Sodertalje 89-65

BC Lulea celebrated Basketligan title. They stormed past Sodertalje in Game 5 of the title series to be crowned champions. The game was mostly controlled by BC Lulea. Sodertalje Kings managed to win second period 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BC Lulea made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. American guard Brandon Rozzell (188-89, college: VCU) stepped up and scored 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) chipped in 24 points and 8 rebounds. International center Nicholas Spires (210-94) responded with 20 points and 7 rebounds and the former international point guard Thomas Massamba (183-85, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
