Devan Lisson
Devan Lisson (183-G-88) will start her professional career in Sweden. The Canadian guard penned a one-year deal with Umea Comets. The club announced her signing yesterday. Lisson graduated few months ago at the University of British Columbia. She had 9.4 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 3.7 apg and 2 apg in 24 games as a senior. In 2009/10, Lisson collected 8.8 ppg, 3.3 rpg and 3.1 apg for 18 games. Devan Lisson played for the Canadian U21, U20, U19 and U18 National Team in the past. With U21 Canada she had 1.1 pgp for 8 games at the World Championships U21 in Moscow Region.
Umea Comets also signed a deal with Jessica Nilsson (184-F-89) this week. Nilsson arrives to Umea from Solna Vikings, where she spent last two seasons. She had 10.4 ppg and 4.9 rpg in the latest one. The Vikings reached Damligan Semifinals and Nilsson was named Eurobasket.com All-Swedish Damligan Honorable Mention -11. In 2009/10, Jessica Nilsson had 4.7 ppg and 4.4 rpg. Before that, she was a member of Sundsvall Saints and KFUM Blackeberg. Jessica Nilsson is active member of the Swedish National Team. She also played for U20 Sweden in the past. Nilsson had 6.1 ppg and 5.4 rpg at the European Championships U20 in Gdynia (Poland) -09.

Louise Angel (190-C-91) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Alvik Basket and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 12. The 25-year old center had a double-double of 20 points and twelve rebounds, while her team outclassed Visby (#9, 1-9) with 38-point margin 106-68. This week's number one is an international center Amanda Bazoukou (196-93). Undefeated leader Udominate delivered the eleventh consecutive win on Sunday night. This time they crushed 8th ranked Telge (2-10) 85-48 in Umea. The game without a history.
