Norrkoping and LF Basket managed to beat their rivals in third games of the Basketligan Quarterfinals. Both squads have 2-1 lead now and they need one more for the Semis. Fourth games are scheduled for Friday. Uppsala handed 93-78 loss to Boras tying the score to 1-1. They will meet tomorrow in Game Three.

Norrkoping - 08 77-67 (2-1)
The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Norrkoping Dolphins made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. They also forced 24 08 Stockholm turnovers. It was a good game for the former international forward Martin Ringstrom (206-F-81) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Latvian point guard Edgard Jeromanovs (186-PG-86) contributed with 12 points and 4 steals for the winners. Icelandic swingman Helgi Magnusson (198-G/F-82, college: Catawba) answered with 17 points and the former international center Johan Akesson (210-C-84) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for 08 Stockholm. 08 Stockholm's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

The game was mostly controlled by Uppsala Basket. Boras Basket was better in second period 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Uppsala Basket forced 19 Boras Basket turnovers. The former international swingman Johan Jeansson (197-G/F-85) scored 27 points to lead the charge for the winners and American power forward Delvon Johnson (206-F/C-89, agency: Priority Sports, college: Arkansas) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The former international center Michael Palm (208-C-79, agency: R.H.Consultancy, college: W.Washington) responded with 24 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Christopher McKnight (201-F-87, college: Akron) scored 28 points.

He has played there for the last two seasons. In 32 Basketligan games he averaged 11.7ppg, 6.2rpg, 1.3apg, 1.3spg and 1.1bpg last season.
