Quarterfinals, Game 4: Uppsala - Boras 87-74 (2-2)

Fourth game between Uppsala and Boras just ended. The home squad celebrated 87-74 victory tying the score to 2-2 in the series. It means that Uppsala forced decisive Game Five, which will be played next Monday at the Boras home court. The winner of that game will play against Norrkoping in the Semis. The game was mostly controlled by Uppsala Basket. Boras Basket was better in third quarter 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Uppsala Basket made 27-of-34 charity shots (79.4 percent) during the game. Boras Basket was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Rhys Carter (190-PG-84) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and the former international swingman Johan Jeansson (197-G/F-85) who added 19 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international center Michael Palm (208-C-79, agency: R.H.Consultancy, college: W.Washington) responded with 16 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Christopher McKnight (201-F-87, college: Akron) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Five Boras Basket players scored in double figures. Both teams protected their home courts so far. Boras is in better position now as they will play crucial game five in the front of their fans.
