Eagles and Nassjo will compete in Basketligan next season. Their status is officially confirmed yesterday. Eagles won the Basketettan title last season. They defeated Hoganas 80-78 in the Big Final. Before that, Eagles eliminated Nassjo in the Semis. It was the perfect year for Eagles as they also were regular season champions in Group North with impressive 22-0 record. Nassjo was No.2 in Group South regular season with 20-2 score. They eliminated LF Future in the Quarterfinals, but failed against Eagles in the Semis. Later Nassjo won third place in Basketettan. They outplayed Malbas 102-84. Twelve teams will participate in Basketligan next season. We had 10 in the latest one.
Sweden has been pretty active over the year in the world of basketball and they dont seem to be slowing down with the list of talent participating in some of the worlds highest leagues. Over the weekend in Sdertlje, the Final Four For the Under 20/18 were played and chance to take a look at the upcoming talent cropy.
