Sundsvall Dragons want to return Alex Wesby - Jun 2, 2012

According to Swedish media, Sundsvall Dragons want to return their former player Alex Wesby (196-G-80, agency: R.H.Consultancy, college: Temple). Reportedly, two sides are already in talks. Wesby was a Dragon in 2004/05 and 2010/11 seasons and also from 2007 to 2009. They won two Basketligan titles together in 2009 and 2011. In 2008 and 2011, Wesby was named Eurobasket.com All-Swedish Basketligan Forward of the Year. In their last season together he had 18.2 ppg, 6.3 rpg and 3.5 apg in 46 games. Alex Wesby spent this season with Groningen. He had 13.9 ppg and 4.6 rpg for 36 games in Dutch league. The team also competed in EuroCup, where Wesby added 8.8 ppg and 3.2 rpg for 6 games. In 2009/10, he was a member of Cypriot Etha. Wesby also has experience from Finland, Austria and France.
