Turkey U20 beat the Scandinavian representative in Debrecen in Day 2 of the International Tournament. The Turkish side improved to 2-0 record after a 74:48 win. Sweden U20 meanwhile fell at 1-1 record. Sweden beat Spain in the opener and opened the game with 21-19. They could not however stay on race in the rest of the game. Turkey replied with 17-11 in the second frame and added 17-11 in the third quarter. Moreover Turkey posted 19-11 in the last stanza to seal the victory. Aysegul Gunay (172-PG-92) top-scored for the winners with 15 points and Pelin Bilgic (173-G-94) as well as Mystery Sezer had 12 each. Merve Aydin (174-PG-94) delivered 9, while Olcay Cakir (180-PG-93) posted 7. Farhiya Abdi (188-F-92) finished the game with 15 points in the losing effort and Binta Drammeh (180-F-92) had 11. Swedish U20 National Team played two exhibition encounters with their Estonian counterparts. The Scandinavian team claimed back-to-back victories in Solna.

They cut the deficit at 9-point mark at the final break but Sweden finished them off with a 17:10 run in the fourth term. Isabelle Edholm (177-G-93) chipped in 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the winners. Birgit Piibur (162-PG-94) knocked down 14 points for Estonia. Rosemary Rits (180-F-92) had 10 points in the loss. Sweden started strong the next game. They ran away to a 10-point lead at the first intermission 23:13. Estonia narrowed the gap in the second frame. They got within 7 points at the interval 36:29. But Sweden went on a 17:10 rally in the third term to pile up a 14-point lead into the fourth period. Estonia tried hard to erase it in the fourth quarter but had to surrender at the end 58:67. Allis Nystrom (184-F-93) and Evelina Estola (179-PG-93) accounted for 9 points each for Sweden. Sweden marched to the victory in the second half. Fanny Wadling produced 12 points and 8 boards for Sweden. Kristin Seman added 11 points in the win. Enna Pehadzic (176-G/F-97) responded with 12 points and 8 boards for Denmark. Elizabeth Norregaard netted 9 points in the loss. Sweden cruised to their next victory. They dismantled Estonian opponents 66:25. The home team established a 36:14 halftime lead. They held Estonia to 11 points in the second half to record a convincing win at the end. Olivia Bringefalt (188-PF-97) and Adriana Camber dropped 12 points each for Sweden. Kristin Seman added 9 points in the victory. Laura Reissar (171-PG-97) answered with 7 points for Estonia. The fourth victory came to Sweden in the clash versus Iceland. Once again Sweden got to a quick start. They grabbed a massive 50:22 halftime lead and breezed to the victory after the big break. Kristin Seman posted 20 points for the winners. Adriana Camber had 14 points and 10 boards for the home team. Eva Kristjansdottir responded with game-high 26 points for Iceland. Sweden faced Finland on the final day of the tournament. And once again the hosts got to the better start. Sweden piled up a 42:32 halftime lead. They held their Finnish opponents to 5 points in the third quarter to march from there on. Olivia Bringefalt dropped 20 points and pulled down 9 rebounds for Sweden. Adriana Camber had 19 points in the winning case. Iina Salmenkivi (184-C-97) replied with 13 points for Finland.
