U20 SWEDEN - U20 LITHUANIA 73-50

Sweden closed second stage in Debrecen with 73-50 win over Lithuania. Sweden is the winner of Group E with almost perfect 4-1 record and will meet Russia in the Quarterfinals of U20 EuroBasket. Lithuania is the last ranked team in this pool with 0-5. They will be transferred to Classification Round from 9th-12th place. Lithuania shined in the second half to take the comfortable victory in this game. Quarters: 10-11, 23-20, 15-8, 25-11. Farhiya Abdi (188-F-92) led the winners with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Binta Drammeh (180-F-92) followed her with 14 points and 6 rebs, while Ida Christensen (174-PG-93) added 12 pts. In the loosing squad, Monika Grigalauskyte (190-PF-92) registered double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds. Neringa Skadaite (184-F-92) and Santa Okockyte (176-PG-92) netted 10 and 9 points respectively, plus each of them grabbed 5 rebounds. Championship continues on Friday.

Louise Angel (190-C-91) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Alvik Basket and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 12. The 25-year old center had a double-double of 20 points and twelve rebounds, while her team outclassed Visby (#9, 1-9) with 38-point margin 106-68.
