Eco Orebro - Sundsvall 72-92
The game without a history. Sundsvall Dragons led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sundsvall Dragons outrebounded Eco Orebro 32-21 including 20 on the defensive glass. Icelandic forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points. American guard Alex Wesby (198-80, college: Temple, agency: R.H.Consultancy) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Sundsvall Dragons players scored in double figures. Forward Timothy Withworth (198-81) replied with 22 points and Irish forward Conor Grace (210-82, college: Davidson) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Eco Orebro.

08 Stockholm managed to escape with a 1-point win 84-83 in the game for the fourth place. The hosts trailed by 13 points at the halftime before their 45-31 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. 08 Stockholm looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Willy Beck (185-87, college: Santa Barbara CC) who scored 23 points and 7 assists. Turkish guard Erkan Inan (192-89) chipped in 18 points and 6 assists. Five 08 Stockholm players scored in double figures. Croatian forward Drazen Klaric (204-80) produced 22 points and 6 rebounds and Portuguese point guard Mario Fernandes (176-82) added 19 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests.

It looked good early as Uppsala Basket took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Boras Basket had a 22-15 second period charge getting the lead and Uppsala Basket was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 83-88. Boras Basket made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Boras Basket outrebounded Uppsala Basket 42-28 including 33 on the defensive glass. American point guard James Miller (180-79, college: N.Carolina A&T, agency: Higher Vision Sports) notched 27 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import forward Christopher McKnight (201-87, college: Akron) supported him with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Even 17 points and 5 rebounds by the former international Stefan Grundberg (196-82, college: Geneva) did not help to save the game for Uppsala Basket. The former international Johan Jeansson (198-85) added 13 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts.

There were just four rounds played in Regular Season of Superettan and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. Superettan top team - Djurgarden (4-0) managed to deliver another win on Friday. This time they beat ninth ranked Alvik Basket (0-3) in Stockholm 91-82.
