American forward Isiah Brown (203-F-89) had an amazing evening in the last round for 08, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for Round 6.
The 23-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 12 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Nassjo (#12, 0-6) with 30-point margin 101-71. 08 maintains the 6th position in Swedish Basketligan. 08 is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-3 record. In the team's last game Brown had a remarkable 90.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be 08's top player in his first season with the team. Isiah Brown averages this season 13.7ppg and 6.3rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was 25-year old Icelandic Pavel Ermolinskij (202-G-87, agency: I.D.S. Law) of Norrkoping. Ermolinskij had a very good evening with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course he lead Norrkoping to another comfortable win 96-79 over the higher-ranked Boras (#1, 5-1) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Norrkoping to move up to 7th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 3-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Ermolinskij is a newcomer at Norrkoping, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American center Michael Palm (209-C-79, agency: R.H.Consultancy) of league's top team Boras. Palm scored 22 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Despite Palm's great performance Boras lost 79-96 to the lower-ranked Norrkoping (#7, 3-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Boras had another "accident". It may be a crucial game and cause dropping from the group of top ranked teams. The record is still good, but 1st lost game is hopefully really an accident. Palm's teammates are also very good. That's why having such high stats is even more impressive. Palm has a great season in Sweden. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.0rpg (#1 in league). Michael Palm has also Swedish passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Justin Sedlak (205-F/C-87) of Solna - 23 points and 10 rebounds
5. Henry Dugat (183-G-87) of LF Basket - 23 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Stefan Grundberg (196-SF-82) of Uppsala - 17 points and 2 rebounds
7. Rhys Carter (190-PG-84) of Uppsala - 15 points, 2 rebounds and 7 assists
8. Darris Santee (203-F-87) of Eco Orebro - 16 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Kenneth Simms (203-C-86) of Sodertalje - 22 points and 3 rebounds
10. Michael Cuffee (195-F-83) of Sundsvall - 16 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
