McKnight
American Christopher McKnight (201-F-87) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Boras and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 25-year old forward had the game-high 26 points adding six rebounds and two assists for Boras in his team's victory, helping them to crush Nassjo (#12, 1-10) with 18-point margin 103-85. It allowed Boras to consolidate first place in the Swedish Basketligan. Boras have a solid 9-2 record. McKnight has many years of experience at Boras, through which he has constantly improved. The University of Akron graduate has very impressive stats this year. McKnight is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 8.1rpg) and averages solid 55.8% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 29-year old American forward Michael Cuffee (195-F-83) of second-ranked Sundsvall. Cuffee impressed basketball fans with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course he lead Sundsvall to another comfortable win 100-84 over the lower-ranked 08 (#7, 5-5) being unquestionably team leader. Sundsvall's second position in the standings has not changed. His team lost just two games this season, while they won 9 matches. Cuffee is a newcomer at Sundsvall and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American William Walker (200-F-87, agency: Warren Sports International) of Nassjo (#12). Walker scored 19 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Despite Walker's great performance Nassjo lost 85-103 to the higher-ranked Boras (#1, 9-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Nassjo can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 1-10 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Too bad for Walker he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Walker has individually a great season in Sweden. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.0ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 8.1rpg (5th best). Walker attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Donald Johnson (201-F) of Solna - 17 points and 11 rebounds
5. Michael Palm (209-C-79) of Boras - 18 points and 6 rebounds
6. Isiah Brown (203-F-89) of 08 - 15 points and 10 rebounds
7. Darryl Hudson (195-G-85) of Jamtland - 26 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists
8. James Miller (180-PG-79) of Boras - 19 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Jonathan Person (192-PG-93) of 08 - 17 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Oladapo Ayuba (198-F-86) of Norrkoping - 16 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
