Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Swedish players who are currently playing abroad.

Jeffery Taylor
Jeffery Taylor
#1. This week's number one is former U20 international forward Jeffery Taylor (200-89, college: Vanderbilt, currently plays in NBA). He contributed to an overtime Charlotte Bobcats' victory against the Dallas Mavericks (6-5) 101-97 in the NBA in Saturday night's game. Taylor scored 8 points, had 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 32 minutes on the court. The Charlotte Bobcats have 4-4 record this season. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Taylor's first year with the team. This season he averages: 4.6ppg, 2.0rpg, 2FGP: 45.8%, 3FGP: 16.7% and FT: 66.7% in the seven games he played so far. Taylor is a naturalized American. He played for the Swedish U20 national team four years ago. Strangely Taylor has never played in Sweden.

Erik Rush
Erik Rush
#2. Second place goes to an international small forward Erik Rush (196-88, college: Montana St., currently plays in Italy). Rush contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Angelico Biella (1-6) 77-60 in the Italian SerieA on Sunday night. He recorded 8 points in 18 minutes. Cimberio Varese (7-0) is placed first in the SerieA. So far his team won all seven games in the Regular Season. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Rush's overall stats are: 2.2ppg, 1.2rpg, 2FGP: 33.3%, 3FGP: 33.3% in the six games. He is a naturalized American. Rush is in the roster of the Swedish senior national team. Apparently he has never played in Sweden.

Jonas Jerebko
Jonas Jerebko
#3. The Swedish player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Jonas Jerebko (206-87, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. Jerebko could not help the Detroit Pistons (1-9) to beat the Houston Rockets (4-5). He scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. The Detroit Pistons were defeated 96-82 on the road by the Rockets. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. Jerebko has been at the team for four years. Jerebko's total stats this season are: 6.9ppg, 3.2rpg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 46.5%, 3FGP: 21.7% and FT: 77.8%. He is a naturalized American. Jerebko is also a member of the Swedish senior national team. Interesting that he has never played in Sweden.

Joakim Kjellbom
Joakim Kjellbom
#4. An experienced center Joakim Kjellbom (213-79, college: N.Arizona, currently plays in Georgia) was the major contributor in Armia's victory against the league outsider STU (0-5) crushing them 95-42 in a derby game in the Georgian Superleague last Saturday. Kjellbom recorded 13 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in only a mere 13 minutes. BC Armia Tbilisi (4-0) is placed second in the Superleague. So far his team won all four games in the Regular Season. Kjellbom is currently fourth on the list of best blockers with 1.0bpg. This year he also averages: 9.3ppg and 7.5rpg in the four games. Kjellbom is also Swedish national team player.

He recorded 8 points. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Lukoil Academik Sofia (5-0) is placed first in the NBL. So far his team won all five games in the Regular Season. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Massamba's first season with the team. Massamba's total stats this year are: 4.0ppg, 2.6rpg and 3.2apg. He plays currently for the Swedish national team.

Jonathan Skjoldebrand
Jonathan Skjoldebrand

Power forward Jonathan Skjoldebrand (204-83, agency: Ronsport, currently plays in Israel) was not able to help Hapoel Tel-Aviv (3-2) in their game against Maccabi Haifa (3-2) in the Israeli Winner League. Skjoldebrand scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 30 minutes. Hapoel Tel-Aviv was crushed 88-52 in Haifa by the higher-ranked (#4) Maccabi. They ended the series of three consecutive victories. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. Skjoldebrand has relatively good stats this year: 14.2ppg and 5.0rpg in the five games. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Swedish National Team roster.

Christian Maraker

He recorded 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. KK Djuro Djakovic Slavonski Brod (4-3) is placed third in the A1. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses. Massamba is currently fifth on the list of best rebounders. His total stats this season are: 9.5ppg, 6.5rpg and 1.5apg. Massamba plays currently for the Swedish national team.

He scored 6 points in only 14 minutes. Sluc Nancy lost 75-89 on the opponent's court to the much higher-ranked (#4) Cholet. It was Sluc Nancy's fourth consecutive loss in a row. This year Grant averages only 1.3ppg in the seven games. He is also in the roster of the Swedish national team.

Chris Czerapowicz
Chris Czerapowicz
#10. Guard Chris Czerapowicz (201-91, currently plays college basketball in the States), who plays in the NCAA couldn't help the Davidson in their last game on Monday. Despite Czerapowicz's good performance the Davidson (#3) was defeated 86-81 in Albuquerque, NM by the University of New Mexico. He recorded 12 points and added 3 passes. This season Czerapowicz averages only 1.3ppg. He is U20 international player as one years ago he still played for the Swedish national team.

#11. International center Carl Engstrom (216-91, currently studies in the States) managed to help The University of Alabama in a 3-point victoryagainst the Oregon State University 65-62 in the NCAA in Thursday night's game. Engstrom recorded only 4 points in 13 minutes. This year Engstrom averages just 1.3ppg in the seven games. He plays currently for the Swedish national team.

#12. U20 international forward Sebastian Norman (206-92, is currently at the American university) couldn't help the Lamar in their game against the University of North Texas in the NCAA. The list of other players, who all have Swedish passport but never been selected to any of Swedish national teams:

#1. Maciej Lampe (211-F/C-85, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Spain could not help Caja Laboral (1-5) to beat Olympiacos (4-2). He scored 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. But the sixth-placed Caja Laboral was badly defeated 89-72 at home by the higher-ranked Olympiacos (#3) in the group C of Euroleague. It was Caja Laboral's third consecutive loss in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Lampe has relatively good stats this season: 11.2ppg and 4.2rpg. He has a dual citizenship: Polish and Swedish.

#2.    #3. Hussein Tawbeh (198-F-82, currently plays in Lebanon) was not able to help Hoops Club (2-2) in their game against Amchit (3-0) in the Lebanese Division A.
