The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with defeat of the leader, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Taby Basket (8-1) on the court of second ranked Umea on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by Umea 62-60. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Taby Basket. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in North. Taby Basket cut a 16-point halftime deficit to two at the end of the game. They outrebounded Taby Basket 45-29 including a 33-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Per Bergmark (195-89) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Egal Saleman (199-88) contributed with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Guard Jimmy Lundin (184-90) replied with 15 points, 5 assists and 5 steals for Taby Basket. Newly promoted Umea maintains second position in North with 6-1 record having just three points less than leader Eos. Taby Basket at the other side still keeps top place with one game lost. Umea are looking forward to face Orongo Dragons (#9) in Sundsvall in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Taby Basket will play on the road against Jarva Devils (#11) and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked LF Future (6-2) against eighth ranked Solna Branten (4-4) on Saturday night. Visiting LF Future was crushed by Solna Branten in Solna 86-62. Worth to mention a great performance of Niklas Larsson (198-94) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists and Jesper Eliasson who added 20 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. Guard Adam Ronnqvist (181-90) responded with 16 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Solna Branten moved-up to sixth place in North, which they share with Alvik Basket. LF Future at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. Solna Branten will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. LF Future's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Lulea to the arena BG Lulea.
An interesting game for Malbas (6-2) which hosted in Malmo second-ranked Haga Haninge (6-2). Third ranked Malbas managed to get a 5-point victory 73-68. The winners were led by Kristoffer Gafor who had that evening a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Malbas' coach Henrik Svensson used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Even a double-double of 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists by Tomas Oberg did not help to save the game for Haga Haninge. Malbas have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in South, which they share with Brahe Basket and Haga Haninge. Malbas will meet Sanda Basket (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Haga Haninge will have a break next round.
An interesting game for IK Eos (8-0) which hosted in Lund second-ranked Haga Haninge (6-2). Top-ranked IK Eos managed to get a 9-point victory 80-71. The best player for the winners was David Hult who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). IK Eos' coach Axel Wallin allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated IK Eos have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position in South with 8-0 record. Haga Haninge at the other side keeps the second place with two games lost. IK Eos' next round opponent will be Hoganas (#6) at home where they are favorite.
Basketettan top team - IK Eos (8-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Eskilstuna (4-5) in Lund 86-58. Adnan Karovic orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points and 6 assists. They dropped to the seventh place with five games lost. IK Eos will face Hoganas (#6) at home in the next round where they are favorite.
