29-year old forward Markus Lenngren (196-F-83) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Hogsbo and receives a Eurobasket.com Basketettan Player of the Week award for round 8. He had a double-double of 30 points and 14 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Sanda (#12, 0-8) with 49-point margin 98-49. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on the top of the standings in South. Hogsbo maintains the 9th position in Swedish Basketettan. Hogsbo is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-6 record. In the team's last game Lenngren had a remarkable 84.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Hogsbo's top player in his first season with the team. Lenngren has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 25.1ppg. Lenngren is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 9.6rpg) and averages solid 59.3% FGP and 48.6% from behind 3-point line.
Second best performed player last round was David Hult (204-C-89) of top-ranked Eos. He is a center in his first season at Eos. In the last game Hult recorded impressive double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds. Of course Eos cruised to a 80-71 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Haga Haninge (#3, 6-2). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in South. Eos consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. He plays for the best team in the league and Eos managed to win all 8 games keeping perfect record. Hult is a newcomer at Eos and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to forward Matthew Cavalieri (198-F-89) of Brahe Basket (#4). Cavalieri got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds . He was a key player of Brahe Basket, leading his team to a 85-69 easy win against the lower-ranked Jarfalla (#8, 3-4). Brahe Basket needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in South. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 2 lost games. Cavalieri has a great season in Sweden. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.8ppg (5th best). He also has FGP: 58.3% and 3PT: 45.2%. Cavalieri attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
