American forward Christopher McKnight (201-F-87) had a great game in the last round for Boras, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 25-year old player had a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Eco Orebro (#10, 3-11) 103-88. Boras maintains the 3rd position in Swedish Basketligan. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Boras will need more victories to improve their 10-4 record. In the team's last game McKnight had a remarkable 90.9% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Boras, through which he has constantly improved. Former The University of Akron star has very solid stats this year. McKnight is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 7.9rpg) and averages impressive 60.5% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 23-year old American Keith Wright (203-F-89) of league's second-best Uppsala. Wright had a very good evening with a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds. Of course he lead Uppsala to another comfortable win 85-72 over the lower-ranked 08 (#6, 8-6) being unquestionably team leader. Uppsala's second position in Round 8 has not changed. His team's 10-4 record is not bad at all. Wright is a newcomer at Uppsala, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Boras' star - American center Michael Palm (209-C-79, agency: R.H.Consultancy). Palm scored 16 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was another key player of Boras, helping his team with a 103-88 easy win against the lower-ranked Eco Orebro (#10, 3-11). Boras needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in . Their record at this point is 10 victories and 4 lost games. Palm has a great season in Sweden. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.6ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 9.8rpg (#1 in league). He also has 1.4bpg and FGP: 60.9%. Michael Palm has also Swedish passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Anton Saks (200-SF-89) of Norrkoping - 17 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Keith Wright (203-F-89) of Uppsala - 18 points and 10 rebounds
6. Jason Thomas (191-G-82) of Boras - 21 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Jakob Sigurdarson (192-PG-82) of Sundsvall - 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Kodi Augustus (203-F-87) of 08 - 19 points and 7 rebounds
9. Stavros Toutziarakis (210-C-87) of Solna - 14 points and 11 rebounds
10. Henry Dugat (183-G-87) of LF Basket - 28 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
