Experienced naturalized American center Michael Palm (209-C-79, agency: R.H.Consultancy) had a very impressive game in the last round for Boras and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 33-year old center had a double-double of 15 points and eleven rebounds, while his team crushed Eagles (#10, 4-11) with 24-point margin 95-71. Boras maintains the 3rd position in American Basketligan. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Boras will need more victories to improve their 11-4 record. Palm has many years of experience at Boras, through which he has constantly improved. Western Washington graduate has very impressive stats this year. Palm. Palm is in league's top in points (3rd best: 18.3ppg) and averages solid 1.5bpg and 60.1% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was -year old American forward Donald Johnson (201-F) of Solna. Johnson impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he lead Solna to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Nassjo (#12, 2-13) 88-61. Solna's 7th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 8-7 record is not bad and everything may still change. Johnson is a newcomer at Solna and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was another Boras' star - American Jason Thomas (191-G-82). Thomas scored 16 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was another key player of Boras, helping his team with a 95-71 easy win against the lower-ranked Eagles (#10, 4-11). Boras needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 11 victories and 4 lost games. Thomas has a very solid season. In 15 games in Sweden he scored 11.7ppg. He also has 7.1rpg and FGP: 55.6%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Terell Castle (182-PG-72) of Eco Orebro - 25 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists
5. Christopher McKnight (201-F-87) of Boras - 20 points and 5 rebounds
6. Serkan Inan (198-G-86) of Eagles - 23 points and 8 rebounds
7. William Walker (200-F-87) of Nassjo - 16 points and 12 rebounds
8. Stavros Toutziarakis (210-C-87) of Solna - 16 points and 9 rebounds
9. Thomas Jackson (175-PG-80) of Uppsala - 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists
10. Kelvin Lewis (195-G-88) of Solna - 19 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
