The round 18 was rather boring as all games ended with very predictable results.

Basketligan top team - Sundsvall Dragons (15-2) managed to deliver another win on Friday. This time they beat eighth ranked LF Basket (8-9) 102-93. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of LF Basket. LF Basket trailed by 24 points after 3 quarters before a 30-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 93-102 at the end of the game. Sundsvall Dragons made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by LF Basket's players. American guard Alex Wesby (198-80, college: Temple, agency: R.H.Consultancy) scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Michael Cuffee (195-83, college: Middle Tenn.St.) chipped in 25 points and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Henry Dugat (183-87, college: Baylor) with 27 points and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sundsvall Dragons have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 15-2 record. LF Basket at the other side keeps the eighth place with nine games lost. Sundsvall Dragons are looking forward to face KFUM Jamtland (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. LF Basket will play against Boras Basket and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
Third ranked Boras Basket (13-5) crushed at home 9th ranked KFUM Jamtland (5-13) by 25 points 100-75, which is the biggest margin this round. American forward Christopher McKnight (201-87, college: Akron) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds to lead the effort and James Miller supported him with 26 points and 5 assists. Even 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists by American guard Darryl Hudson (195-85, college: Howard) did not help to save the game for KFUM Jamtland. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Boras Basket moved-up to second place, which they share with Uppsala. KFUM Jamtland at the other side keeps the ninth position with 13 games lost. Boras Basket will play against LF Basket (#8) in Lulea in the next round where they are favorite. KFUM Jamtland will play at home against the league's leader Sundsvall Dragons and hopes to get back on the winning track.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 18: bottom-ranked Nassjo was destroyed by Uppsala on the opponent's court 95-71. Eco Orebro unfortunately lost to Solna in a home game 73-90. Sodertalje managed to beat Eagles on the road 72-62. Norrkoping defeated 08 on its own court 90-82.

Uppsala - Nassjo 95-71

Very expected game when 12th ranked Nassjo (3-15) was crushed on the road by third ranked Uppsala Basket (13-5) 95-71. The game without a history. Uppsala Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Uppsala Basket forced 20 Nassjo turnovers. Even 17 points by Canadian guard Tut Ruach (188-85) did not help to save the game for Nassjo. Forward Kristian Ternell (199-92) added 11 points and 6 rebounds. Four Nassjo players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Uppsala Basket moved-up to second place, which they share with Boras. Newly promoted Nassjo stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. They share it with Eco Orebro. Uppsala Basket will play against 08 Stockholm (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Nassjo will play against Eco Orebro (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Eco Orebro - Solna 73-90

Very predictable result when fifth ranked Solna Vikings (11-7) defeated on the road 11th ranked Eco Orebro (3-15) 90-73. The game was mostly controlled by Solna Vikings. Eco Orebro was better in third quarter 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Eagles - Sodertalje 62-72

Not a big story in a game in Stockholm where 10th ranked White Eagles (4-14) were defeated by sixth ranked Sodertalje Kings (10-5) 72-62.
