We bring you last week's top performances from Swedish players who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Jeffery Taylor
Jeffery Taylor
#1. This week's number one is former U20 international forward Jeffery Taylor (200-89, college: Vanderbilt, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. He could not help the Charlotte Bobcats (8-24) in their last game. Despite Taylor's good performance the Charlotte Bobcats were edged 106-104 on the road by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He scored 11 points in 27 minutes on the court. This year Taylor averages: 6.7ppg, 2.5rpg, 2FGP: 43.6%, 3FGP: 33.8% and FT: 81.4% in the 31 games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Taylor played for the Swedish U20 national team five years ago. Strangely he has never played in Sweden.

Erik Rush
Erik Rush
#2. Second place goes to an international small forward Erik Rush (196-88, college: Montana St., currently plays in Italy). Rush contributed to a Cimberio Varese's victory against the 12th-ranked Vanoli Cremona (4-9) 94-84 in the Italian SerieA on Sunday night. He recorded 6 points in 17 minutes. Cimberio Varese (12-1) is placed first in the SerieA. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This year Rush's overall stats are: 3.4ppg, 1.3rpg, 2FGP: 25.0% and FT: 62.5% in the 12 games. He is a naturalized American. Rush is in the roster of the Swedish senior national team. Apparently he has never played in Sweden.

Viktor Gaddefors
Viktor Gaddefors
#3. The Swedish player who performed third best last week abroad was an international small forward Viktor Gaddefors (203-92, currently plays in Italy). Gaddefors was not able to help SAIE3 BO (6-7) in their game against Banco di Sardegna Sassari (11-2) in the Italian SerieA. He recorded only 4 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. SAIE3 BO was defeated 81-67 in Sassari by the second-ranked Banco di Sardegna. It was SAIE3 BO's third consecutive loss in a row. Gaddefors' total stats this season are: 3.5ppg, 2.8rpg, 2FGP: 68.4%(13-19), 3FGP: 27.8%. He is also a member of the Swedish senior national team.

Chris Czerapowicz
Chris Czerapowicz
#4. Guard Chris Czerapowicz (201-91, currently plays college basketball in the States) managed to help Davidson College to win against the University of North Carolina, Greensboro (1-1) crushing them 85-53 in the NCAA on Saturday night. He scored only 4 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. The Davidson College has 3-0 conference record this season. So far his team won all three games in the conference. Czerapowicz's total stats this season are: 5.8ppg and 2.9rpg. He used to play for the Swedish U20 national team back in 2011.

Jonathan Skjoldebrand
Jonathan Skjoldebrand
#5. International power forward Jonathan Skjoldebrand (204-83, agency: Ronsport, currently plays in Israel) was not able to secure a victory for Hapoel Tel-Aviv (5-6) in their game against Maccabi Ashdod (10-0) in the Israeli Winner League. Skjoldebrand scored 6 points in 24 minutes. Hapoel Tel-Aviv lost 67-72 in Ashdod to the leading Maccabi. It was Hapoel Tel-Aviv's third consecutive loss in a row. This year Skjoldebrand's total stats are: 9.7ppg and 3.9rpg in the 11 games. He has a dual citizenship: Swedish and Israeli. Skjoldebrand plays currently for the Swedish national team.

Sebastian Norman
Sebastian Norman
#6. Forward Sebastian Norman (206-92, currently studies in the States) helped Lamar edge the Long Island University (0-2) 81-80 in the NCAA in Saturday night's game. He recorded only 2 points. The Lamar University has 0-2 conference record this season. Norman has averaged so far 3.5ppg, 6.4rpg and 1.5apg. He is U20 international player who is currently on the Swedish National Team roster.

The list of other players, who all have Swedish passport but never been selected to any of Swedish national teams:

#1. Maciej Lampe (211-F/C-85, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a Caja Laboral's victory against the 16th-ranked Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (4-12) 84-77 in the Spanish ACB last Sunday. Lampe scored 8 points. Caja Laboral Vitoria (12-3) is placed second in the ACB. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Lampe has relatively good stats this season: 11.6ppg and 4.9rpg. He has a dual citizenship: Polish and Swedish.

#2. Experienced Aleksandar Damjanovic (206-C/F-73, currently plays in Cyprus) helped Keravnos win their game against the league outsider ENAD (1-9) 69-62 in the Cypriot Division A last Saturday. Damjanovic recorded 8 points in only 4 minutes. Keravnos Strovolou (8-2) is placed first in the Division A. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Damjanovic's first season with the team. This year his total stats are: 5.8ppg and 2.9rpg in the 10 games he played so far. Damjanovic is another player who holds two passports: Swedish and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

#3. Hussein Tawbeh (198-F-82, currently plays in Lebanon), who plays in the Lebanese Division A could not help Hoops Club (2-8) to beat Sagesse (9-1). He cannot count Friday's game as one of the best ones. Tawbeh scored only 2 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Hoops Club was badly defeated 108-91 in a derby game by the leading Sagesse. It was Hoops Club's third consecutive loss in a row. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Tawbeh has averaged so far 3.5ppg, 6.4rpg and 1.5apg. He has both Swedish and Lebanese nationalities.

#4. Challe Barton (190-G, currently plays college basketball in the States) managed to help Oregon State University in a victory against the University of Texas-Pan American crushing them 84-59 in the NCAA on Monday night. Barton scored only 4 points in 14 minutes. The Oregon State University has conference record this season. Barton has averaged so far 3.5ppg, 6.4rpg and 1.5apg in the eight games.
