The most important game in the last round took place in Norrkoping between second ranked Uppsala Basket (14-6) and sixth ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (12-7) on Friday night. Uppsala Basket was defeated by Norrkoping Dolphins on the road 65-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Uppsala Basket. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 80-65. Norrkoping Dolphins dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Uppsala Basket's 28. Norrkoping Dolphins looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Norrkoping Dolphins made 7 blocks. Icelandic guard Pavel Ermolinskij (202-87, agency: I.D.S. Law) orchestrated the victory by scoring 7 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. American guard Keith Gabriel (190-89, college: VMI) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Norrkoping Dolphins' coach Paul Burke used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Thomas Jackson (175-80, college: Butler) replied with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for Uppsala Basket. Defending champion moved-up to fifth place. Uppsala Basket at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost. They share it with Boras. Norrkoping Dolphins are looking forward to face LF Basket (#8) in Lulea in the next round. Uppsala Basket will play at home against Eco Orebro (#11) and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a home loss of third ranked Boras Basket (14-6) against fifth ranked Sodertalje Kings (12-5) on Friday night. Host Boras Basket was defeated by Sodertalje Kings in Boras 92-81. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Boras Basket. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Kenneth Simms (203-86, college: Cumberland) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds and John Roberson who added 22 points and 6 assists during the contest. American point guard James Miller (180-79, college: N.Carolina A&T, agency: Higher Vision Sports) responded with 26 points and 6 assists. Sodertalje Kings have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Boras Basket at the other side dropped to the second position with six games lost. They share it with Uppsala. Sodertalje Kings will play against KFUM Jamtland (#9) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Boras Basket will play against Solna Vikings (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
An interesting game for Sundsvall Dragons (17-3) which hosted in Sundsvall 4th ranked Solna Vikings (12-8). First ranked Sundsvall Dragons had an easy win 91-71. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Solna Vikings. The winners were led by Hlynur Baeringsson who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Even 19 points and 8 rebounds by Donald Johnson did not help to save the game for Solna Vikings. Sundsvall Dragons maintains first position with 17-3 record. Loser Solna Vikings dropped to the sixth place with eight games lost. Sundsvall Dragons will meet bottom-ranked Nassjo (#12) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Solna Vikings will play against Boras Basket (#3) and hope to secure a win.
A very interesting game took place in Jamtland. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked LF Basket (8-11) to ninth ranked KFUM Jamtland (6-14) 94-93 on Friday evening. The best player for the winners was Boakai Lalugba who scored 23 points and 8 rebounds. KFUM Jamtland maintains ninth position with 6-14 record. LF Basket lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 11 games lost. KFUM Jamtland's next round opponent will be higher ranked Sodertalje Kings (#4) on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.

In the last two games of round 20 08 smashed Eco Orebro on the road 89-70. Eagles won against Nassjo on its own court 80-67.

Eco Orebro - 08 70-89

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked 08 Stockholm (10-9) crushed on the road 11th ranked Eco Orebro (4-16) 89-70. The game was mostly controlled by 08 Stockholm. Eco Orebro was better in third quarter 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 23-of-28 charity shots (82.1 percent) during the game. 08 Stockholm players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Isiah Brown (203-89, college: E.Tenn.St.) who scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. International point guard Jonathan Person (192-93) chipped in 14 points. Four 08 Stockholm players scored in double figures. American forward Darris Santee (203-87, college: UNLV) produced 28 points and American-Bosnian point guard Terell Castle (182-72, college: Nicholls St., agency: Court Side) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. 08 Stockholm maintains seventh position with 10-9 record. An interesting game for Sundsvall Dragons (17-3) which hosted in Sundsvall 4th ranked Solna Vikings (12-8). First ranked Sundsvall Dragons had an easy win 91-71. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Solna Vikings. The game without a history. Sundsvall Dragons led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sundsvall Dragons outrebounded Solna Vikings 46-33 including 31 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by Icelandic forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Michael Cuffee (195-83, college: Middle Tenn.St.) supported him with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Sundsvall Dragons players scored in double figures. Even 19 points and 8 rebounds by American forward Donald Johnson (201, college: CSU Bakersfield) did not help to save the game for Solna Vikings. Slovakian power forward Justin Sedlak (205-87, college: Florida Tech) added 12 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Sundsvall Dragons maintains first position with 17-3 record. A very interesting game took place in Jamtland. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked LF Basket (8-11) to ninth ranked KFUM Jamtland (6-14) 94-93 on Friday evening. Rather expected game when 12th ranked Nassjo (3-17) lost to tenth ranked White Eagles (5-15) in Stockholm 67-80. It looked good early as Nassjo took an 5-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then White Eagles had a 23-12 second period charge getting the lead and Nassjo was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 67-80. White Eagles forced 19 Nassjo turnovers. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin center Marko Ljujic (205-90, agency: BBEH Cokrlija) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Serbian guard Nenad Stefanovic (193-85, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 19 points. Four White Eagles players scored in double figures. American forward William Walker (200-87, college: Bethel, IN, agency: Warren Sports International) produced 16 points and 8 rebounds and Canadian guard Tut Ruach (188-85) added 13 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals respectively for the guests. Newly promoted White Eagles maintains tenth position with 5-15 record. Nassjo lost fourth consecutive game. Nassjo at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom place with 17 games lost. KFUM Jamtland Basket (Basketligan) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old Finn international point guard Antto Nikkarinen (185-85kg-91, agency: Blacktop Management). It is actually his comeback to Sodertalje Kings as he has played here before. Borg has played for the last three seasons at RETAbet Bilbao Basket in Spanish Liga Endesa. KFUM Nassjo Basket (Basketligan) inked 27-year old Serbian center Dusan Sisic (206-90). He played most recently at BBC US Hiefenech Heffingen in Luxembourg N2 league. In four games he averaged 13.3ppg, 7.5rpg and 2.3apg last season. Sisic also played that season for Konstantin in Serbian KLS where in 15 games he had 11.1ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.2apg.
