Mohamed
Nefatti
Mohamed Nefatti (196-F-84) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Boras II and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Basketettan Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 28-year old forward had the game-high 30 points adding eight rebounds and four assists for Boras II in his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Sanda (#12, 0-13) with 88-point margin 126-38. Boras II is placed at 4th position in Swedish Basketettan. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Boras II will need more victories to improve their 8-4 record. In the team's last game Nefatti had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Mohamed Nefatti averages this season 11.5ppg and 6.9rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 22-year old Ugandan guard Kassim Nagwere (187-G-90) of Fryshuset. Nagwere impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds. It was enough for Fryshuset to edge slightly lower-ranked Orongo (#8, 5-7) by 4 points 62-58. This victory allowed Fryshuset to move up to 6th position in North. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-7 record. Nagwere is a newcomer at Fryshuset and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.7ppg (#6). His other stats are also decent: 9.5rpg and 4.2apg.

The third best performed player last round was Richard Hartmann (201-F-89) of top-ranked Akropol. Hartmann scored 18 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Akropol, leading his team to a 87-86 win against #3 ranked Taby in a game of the week. Akropol confirms their top position in North. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 3 lost games. Hartmann has a very solid season. In 13 games in Sweden he scored 18.0ppg. He also has 8.1rpg and FGP: 61.2%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Hajzer Ismaili (201-F-94) of Boras II - 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists
5. William Gutenius (205-F/C-92) of Orongo - 17 points, 16 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Jean Alix (200-C-79) of Jarfalla - 21 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Korab Ferizi (201-F/C-85) of Malbas - 16 points and 12 rebounds
8. Christian Koutras (189-G-88) of Akropol - 20 points, 4 rebounds and 9 assists
9. Richard Maraker (198-F-84) of Boras II - 17 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Erik Andersson (197-G/F-87) of Taby - 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
