Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Swedish players who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is former U20 international forward Jeffery Taylor (200-89, college: Vanderbilt, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. Taylor could not help the Charlotte Bobcats (9-27) in their last game on Friday. Despite his good performance the Charlotte Bobcats were crushed 99-78 on the road by the Toronto Raptors. Taylor scored 10 points. It's Taylor's first season with the team. This year he averages: 6.7ppg, 2.3rpg, 2FGP: 44.0%, 3FGP: 35.1% and FT: 80.4%. Taylor is a naturalized American. He played for the Swedish U20 national team five years ago. Strangely Taylor has never played in Sweden.

   #2. Second place goes to an international small forward Erik Rush (196-88, college: Montana St., currently plays in Italy). He contributed to a Cimberio Varese's victory against the league outsider VL Pesaro (2-12) 82-69 in the Italian SerieA on Sunday night. Rush scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 33 minutes. Cimberio Varese (13-1) is placed first in the SerieA. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. This year Rush's overall stats are: 3.6ppg, 1.5rpg, 2FGP: 33.3%, 3FGP: 43.5% and FT: 62.5% in the 13 games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Rush is in the roster of the Swedish senior national team. Apparently he has never played in Sweden.

   #3. The Swedish player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Thomas Massamba (185-85, currently plays in Bulgaria). Massamba was not able to help Lukoil Academik (10-2) in their game against Levski Sofia (10-2) in the Bulgarian NBL. He scored 7 points and added 4 passes. The league leader Lukoil Academik was defeated 85-78 in a derby game by the second-ranked Levski Sofia. They ended the series of three consecutive victories. Massamba's total stats this season are: 5.3ppg, 2.8rpg, 4.2apg, 2FGP: 53.8% and FT: 81.8%. He is also a member of the Swedish senior national team.

   #4. Guard Kenny Grant (188-82, college: Davidson, currently plays in France) helped Sluc Nancy win their game against the 14th-ranked Poitiers (5-10) 72-66 in the French ProA last Saturday. Grant scored 10 points and added 3 assists in 32 minutes. Sluc Nancy Basket Pro (7-8) is placed ninth in the ProA. This year Grant's total stats are: 3.0ppg and 1.2apg in the 15 games. He is also Swedish national team player.

Former U20 international guard Chris Czerapowicz (201-91, currently plays college basketball in the States) led Davidson to a victory against the Furman University (0-3) 81-73 in the NCAA on Saturday night. Czerapowicz scored 13 points. The Davidson College has 4-0 conference record this season. So far his team won all four games in the conference. Czerapowicz has averaged so far 3.0ppg and 1.2apg. He used to play for the Swedish U20 national team two years ago.

Power forward Jonathan Skjoldebrand (204-83, agency: Ronsport, currently plays in Israel) was not able to secure a victory for Hapoel Tel-Aviv (5-7) in their game against Bnei Hasharon (5-7) in the Israeli Winner League. Skjoldebrand scored only 4 points, had 8 rebounds and dished 4 assists. Hapoel Tel-Aviv was defeated 94-88 in Hod Hasharon by the lower-ranked Bnei Hasharon (#9). It was Hapoel Tel-Aviv's fourth consecutive loss in a row. Skjoldebrand has averaged so far 9.3ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.1apg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Swedish National Team roster.

   #7. International small forward Viktor Gaddefors (203-92, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help SAIE3 BO (6-8) in their game against Enel Brindisi (8-6) in the Italian SerieA. Gaddefors cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 2 points in 11 minutes. SAIE3 BO lost 75-88 at home to the higher-ranked (#6) Enel Brindisi. It was SAIE3 BO's fourth consecutive loss in a row. Gaddefors has averaged so far 3.4ppg and 2.8rpg in the 14 games. He is also Swedish national team player.

Point guard Jonathan Person (192-93, currently plays in Germany) couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Oettinger Rockets Gotha (6-11) in their game against Finke Baskets (7-10) in the German ProA (second division). He scored 5 points in 14 minutes. It was his first game for Oettinger Rockets Gotha this season. Oettinger Rockets Gotha lost 85-97 in Paderborn to the higher-ranked (#12) Finke Baskets. Person plays currently for the Swedish national team.

   #9. Former U18 international forward Elias Desport (201-92, currently studies in the States) couldn't help the St.Peter's (1-3) in their game against the Loyola College (3-1) in the NCAA. He cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. Desport scored only 2 points. It was his first game for St.Peter's this season. The St.Peter's was badly defeated 74-58 in Baltimore, MD by the Loyola College. It was St.Peter's' third consecutive loss in a row. Desport used to play for the Swedish U18 national team three years ago.

   #10. Forward Sebastian Norman (206-92, is currently at the American university) couldn't help the Lamar (0-5) in their game against the Southeastern Louisiana University (3-1) in the NCAA. He cannot count Monday's game as one of the best ones. Norman recorded only 1 points in 2 minutes on the court. It was his first game for Lamar this season. The Lamar lost 63-67 on their home court in Beaumont, TX to the Southeastern Louisiana University. So far Lamar lost all five games in the conference Norman is U20 international player who is currently on the Swedish National Team roster.


The list of other players, who all have Swedish passport but never been selected to any of Swedish national teams:

   #1. Maciej Lampe (211-F/C-85, currently plays in Euroleague) led his Spanish team Caja Laboral to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Besiktas (0-3) crushing them 77-51 in the Euroleague in Thursday night's game. He had a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 10 rebounds. Lampe also added 3 blocks in a mere 17 minutes. Caja Laboral Vitoria (3-0) is placed first in group F. So far his team won all three games in the Top 16. Lampe has relatively good stats this year: 11.9ppg and 5.5rpg in the 13 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Polish and Swedish.

   #2. Experienced Aleksandar Damjanovic (206-C/F-73, currently plays in Cyprus) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Omonia (2-11) 76-58 in the Cypriot Division A in Wednesday night's game. Damjanovic scored 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 19 minutes. Keravnos Strovolou (11-2) is placed first in the Division A. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Damjanovic has averaged so far 6.2ppg and 3.0rpg in the 11 games. He is another player who holds two passports: Swedish and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

   #3. Challe Barton (190-G, currently plays college basketball in the States), who plays in the NCAA could not help the Oregon St. (0-3) to beat the Arizona State University (3-0). Barton recorded 6 points. The Oregon St. was defeated 72-62 at home by the Arizona State University. So far Oregon St. lost all three games in the conference Barton has averaged so far 3.4ppg and 2.8rpg.

   #4. Daniel Bwomono (197-F-77, currently plays in Norway) was not able to help Ammerud Bskt (3-12) in their game against Baerum Basket (9-8) in the Norwegian BLNO. He scored 5 points. The bottom-ranked Ammerud Bskt was crushed 97-62 on their home court in Oslo by the higher-ranked Baerum Basket (#3). Bwomono has averaged so far 3.7ppg and 2.2rpg.

American Center Dartaye Ruffin (205-C-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Nassjo, receiving a Court Side Player of the Week award for round 28. The 25-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds, while his team crushed Malbas (#9, 2-22) with 24-point margin 103-79. The game between Top Four teams took place in Norrkoping. Second ranked host Norrkoping Dolphins (17-7) defeated one of their biggest challengers Sodertalje Kings (15-7) 73-62. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game.
