Seventh-ranked 08 Stockholm (11-11) made lots of trouble for first ranked Sundsvall Dragons (19-3) on Tuesday. Sundsvall Dragons managed to secure only three-point victory 86-83. However their fans expected much easier game. 08 Stockholm trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 25-16 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 83-86 at the end of the game. Sundsvall Dragons made 27-of-32 free shots (84.4 percent) during the game. Sundsvall Dragons outrebounded 08 Stockholm 43-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. 27 personal fouls committed by 08 Stockholm helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Icelandic forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds (made all of his thirteen free throws !!!) for the winners. American guard Michael Cuffee (195-83, college: Middle Tenn.St.) chipped in 19 points and 11 rebounds. American forward Kodi Augustus (203-87, college: Mississippi St., agency: Two Points) produced 16 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Sundsvall Dragons have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 19-3 record. 08 Stockholm at the other side keeps the seventh place with 11 games lost. Sundsvall Dragons are looking forward to face Solna Vikings (#5) at home in the next round. 08 Stockholm will play against Boras Basket and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
Eleventh-ranked Eco Orebro (4-18) made lots of trouble for sixth ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (13-8). Norrkoping Dolphins managed to secure only one-point victory 83-82. However their fans expected much easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Joakim Kjellbom (213-79, college: N.Arizona) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 9 rebounds. Pavel Ermolinskij contributed with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Norrkoping Dolphins' coach Paul Burke allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Darris Santee (203-87, college: UNLV) replied with 25 points and 4 assists for Eco Orebro. Defending champion maintains sixth position with 13-8 record. Eco Orebro lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 18 games lost. Norrkoping Dolphins will play against KFUM Jamtland (#9) on the road in the next round. Eco Orebro will play against White Eagles in Stockholm and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

At the losing side Boakai Lalugba responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Solna Vikings have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 15-8 record. Loser KFUM Jamtland keeps the ninth place with 16 games lost. Solna Vikings will meet league's leader Sundsvall Dragons on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. KFUM Jamtland will play against Norrkoping Dolphins (#6) in Norrkoping and hope to secure a win.

Rest of the games of round 22 were very predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
LF Basket was defeated by Sodertalje in a road game 94-79. Eagles was beaten by Uppsala at home 66-80. Bottom-ranked Nassjo lost to Boras on the opponent's court 83-101.
The best stats of 22th round was 25 points and 14 rebounds by Kenneth Simms of Sodertalje.



Sodertalje - LF Basket 94-79

There was no surprise when 8th ranked LF Basket (9-13) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Sodertalje Kings (15-5) 94-79 on Saturday. The game without a history. Sodertalje Kings led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. American center Kenneth Simms (203-86, college: Cumberland) had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Bosnian forward Toni Bizaca (202-82) chipped in 26 points (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) during the contest. Sodertalje Kings' coach Vedran Bosnic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American-German center Urule Igbavboa (203-87, college: Valparaiso) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Henry Dugat (183-87, college: Baylor) scored 14 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sodertalje Kings have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Loser LF Basket keeps the eighth position with 13 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Eleventh-ranked Eco Orebro (4-18) made lots of trouble for sixth ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (13-8). Norrkoping Dolphins managed to secure only one-point victory 83-82. However their fans expected much easier game. It looked good early as Eco Orebro took an 12-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Norrkoping Dolphins took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 1 point. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Eco Orebro's 32. They outrebounded Eco Orebro 42-22 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Joakim Kjellbom (213-79, college: N.Arizona) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 9 rebounds. No shocking result in a game in Stockholm where second ranked Uppsala Basket (16-6) defeated 10th ranked White Eagles (5-17) 80-66 on Friday. The game without a history. Uppsala Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American forward Keith Wright (203-89, college: Harvard) scored 18 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Axel Nordstrom (193-91) chipped in 7 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side Latvian forward Agnis Cavars (196-86) responded with 12 points and 9 rebounds and Lithuanian forward Ronaldas Rutkauskas (203-92) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four Uppsala Basket and five White Eagles players scored in double figures. Uppsala Basket maintains second position with 16-6 record having just three points less than leader Sundsvall. Newly promoted White Eagles keep the tenth place with 17 games lost. Uppsala Basket will meet bottom-ranked Nassjo (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. White Eagles will play against Eco Orebro and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 101-83. Boras Basket made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game, while Nassjo only scored four points from the stripe. Boras Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The former international center Michael Palm (209-79, college: W.Washington, agency: R.H.Consultancy) scored 30 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard James Miller (180-79, college: N.Carolina A&T, agency: Higher Vision Sports) chipped in 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Adnan Chuk has agreed on terms of contract extension with Norrkoping. The head coach has penned a new two-year deal with the Dolphins. Adnan Chuk took over Norrkoping at the start of the last season. Boras Basket (Basketligan) confirmed in their roster 37-year old Swedish ex-international center Michael Palm (210-105kg-79, college: W.Washington). He is a dual citizen owning also American passport. Palm has played there for the last seven seasons. In 39 Basketligan games he had 10.5ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.4apg last season. Cinac comes back to Jamtland, ex KK Zagreb - May 19, 2016

KFUM Jamtland Basket (Basketligan) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old Croatian forward Dino Cinac (201-88). It is actually his comeback to KFUM Jamtland as he played here before. Cinac played most recently at KK Zagreb in Croatian A1 league. In 14 games he recorded 7.3ppg and 3.4rpg last season. He also played at KFUM Jamtland that season.
