Baeringsson
Experienced Icelandic Hlynur Baeringsson (200-F-82) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Sundsvall and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 26.
The 30-year old forward had a double-double of 16 points and fourteen rebounds, while his team beat 08 (#7, 12-14) 93-81. It allowed Sundsvall to consolidate first place in the Swedish Basketligan. Sundsvall have a solid 22-4 record. In the team's last game Baeringsson had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Sundsvall, through which he has constantly improved. Baeringsson has impressive league stats. He leads league in rebounds with 10.4rpg. Baeringsson is in league's top in and averages solid 58.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 31-year old American power forward Boakai Lalugba (202-F/C-81) of Jamtland. Lalugba impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds. It was enough for Jamtland to edge slightly lower-ranked Eco Orebro (#11, 5-21) by 5 points 86-81. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Jamtland keeps 9th position. 17 lost games are too many comparing to just seven victories Jamtland managed to get this year. Lalugba is well-known by Jamtland fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was former international forward Christian Maraker (206-PF-82) of Norrkoping (#6). Maraker scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds. He was a key player of Norrkoping, leading his team to a 91-88 win against the lower-ranked Nassjo (#12, 5-21). Norrkoping needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 16 victories and 8 lost games. Maraker has a very solid season. In 6 games in Sweden he scored 15.5ppg. He also has 5.8rpg and FGP: 58.1%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Michael Palm (209-C-79) of Boras - 26 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Szymon Lukasiak (208-C-87) of Nassjo - 26 points and 6 rebounds
6. Keith Wright (203-F-89) of Uppsala - 14 points and 12 rebounds

10. Lamarcus Reed (195-G/F-88) of LF Basket - 22 points and 5 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
