Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Swedish players who are currently playing abroad.

Jeffery Taylor
Jeffery Taylor
#1. This week's number one is former U20 international forward Jeffery Taylor (200-89, college: Vanderbilt, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. Taylor could not help the Charlotte Bobcats (11-39) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance the Charlotte Bobcats were defeated 109-95 on the road by the Houston Rockets. Taylor recorded 15 points and added 3 passes. It's Taylor's first season with the team. This year he averages: 6.5ppg, 2.1rpg, 2FGP: 47.2%, 3FGP: 36.4% and FT: 78.9%. Taylor is a naturalized American. He played for the Swedish U20 national team five years ago. Strangely Taylor has never played in Sweden.

Jonas Jerebko
Jonas Jerebko
#2. Second place goes to an international power forward Jonas Jerebko (206-87, currently plays in NBA). He was not able to help the Detroit Pistons (20-32) in their game against the New York Knicks (32-16) in the NBA. Jerebko scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 17 minutes. The Detroit Pistons lost 85-99 in New York to the Knicks. Jerebko has been at the team for four years. This season his overall stats are: 5.1ppg, 2.9rpg, 2FGP: 41.5%, 3FGP: 22.6% and FT: 70.4% in the 21 games he played so far. Jerebko is a naturalized American. He is in the roster of the Swedish senior national team. Apparently Jerebko has never played in Sweden.

Thomas Massamba
Thomas Massamba
#3. The Swedish player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Thomas Massamba (185-85, currently plays in Bulgaria). He contributed to a Lukoil Academik's victory against the seventh-ranked Beroe (6-10) 88-78 in the Bulgarian NBL in Friday night's game. Massamba recorded 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Lukoil Academik Sofia (14-2) is placed first in the NBL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Massamba's total stats this season are: 5.7ppg, 2.6rpg, 3.8apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 47.2%, 3FGP: 29.6% and FT: 78.6%. He is also a member of the Swedish senior national team.

Chris Czerapowicz
Chris Czerapowicz

Czerapowicz scored 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 29 minutes. The Davidson College has quite an impressive 12-1 conference record this season. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. This year Czerapowicz's total stats are: 5.7ppg, 2.6rpg, 3.8apg and 1.3spg in the 16 games. He used to play for the Swedish U20 national team back in 2011.

Andreas Schreiber
Andreas Schreiber
   #5. Jonathan Person
#7. International point guard Jonathan Person (192-93, currently plays in Germany) was not able to secure a victory for Oettinger Rockets Gotha (8-13) in their game against Duesseldorf Baskets (14-6) in the German ProA (second division). He is also Swedish national team player.

Sebastian Norman
Sebastian Norman
#8. Forward Sebastian Norman (206-92, currently studies in the States) couldn't help the Lamar (1-11) in their game against the Stephen F. Austin State University (11-1) in the NCAA. Norman cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 2 points in 8 minutes on the court. The Lamar lost 51-65 at home to the Stephen F. Austin State University. Norman has averaged so far 5.2ppg, 1.6rpg and 1.8apg in the five games. He plays currently for the Swedish U20 national team.

The list of other players, who all have Swedish passport but never been selected to any of Swedish national teams:

#1. Maciej Lampe (211-F/C-85, currently plays in Spain) led Caja Laboral to a victory against the closely-ranked Valencia Basket (12-8) 79-75 in the Spanish ACB in Sunday night's game. He scored 15 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 24 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Caja Laboral Vitoria (17-3) is placed second in the ACB. It was his team's tenth consecutive victory in a row. Lampe has relatively good stats this year: 13.1ppg and 5.3rpg in the 20 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Polish and Swedish.

#2. Elias Westerlund (197-F-88, currently plays in Norway), who plays in the Norwegian BLNO could not help Asker Aliens (7-12) in their last game. Despite Westerlund's very good performance Asker Aliens lost 75-83 on the road to the higher-ranked (#3) Baerum Basket. He was the top scorer with 26 points. Westerlund also added 7 rebounds in 31 minutes. It was Asker Aliens' third consecutive loss in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Westerlund is currently second on the list of top scorers with 22.2ppg. He also averaged so far 5.1rpg, 1.1apg and 1.1spg in the 16 games.

#3. Challe Barton (190-G, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to an easy victory against the University of Utah (2-9) 82-64 in the NCAA on Wednesday night. Barton recorded 9 points in 24 minutes. The Oregon State University has rather weak 2-7 conference record this season. Barton has averaged so far 4.2ppg and 2.7rpg in the 18 games.
