Here is the weekly review of the top performing Swedish players, who play currently abroad.

Farhiya Abdi
Farhiya Abdi
#1. This week's number one is former international forward Farhiya Abdi (188-92, currently plays in Czech Republic). She was the major contributor in an IMOS Brno's victory against the sixth-ranked VS Praha (10-11) 87-73 in the Czech Republic ZBL in Sunday night's game. Abdi scored 19 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 30 minutes on the court. IMOS Brno (20-2) is placed second in the ZBL. It was her team's 14th consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. Abdi is currently second on the league's list of top scorers with 18.1ppg. She also averaged so far 6.4rpg, 2.1apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 51.6%, 3FGP: 16.3% and FT: 78.1% in the 20 games she played so far. Abdi played for the Swedish senior national team two years ago.

Elin Eldebrink
Elin Eldebrink
#2. Second place goes to an international guard Elin Eldebrink (174-88, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian A1. She could not help Cagliari CUS (2-12) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Eldebrink's very good performance Cagliari CUS was crushed 86-60 on the road by the higher-ranked Taranto (#4). She was the top scorer with 27 points. Eldebrink also added 3 steals. Eldebrink belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #7. She has very reliable stats this season: 12.5ppg, 3.9rpg, 2.7apg, 2.3spg, 2FGP: 56.3%(54-96), 3FGP: 38.5% and FT: 66.7%. Eldebrink is in the roster of the Swedish senior national team.

Kadidja Andersson
Kadidja Andersson
#3. The Swedish player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced international power forward Kadidja Andersson (185-80, college: Minnesota, currently plays in Eurocup). She was not able to help MBK Ruzomberok (2-2) in their game against Kayseri (3-1) in the Eurocup. Andersson recorded 6 points in 23 minutes. The third-placed MBK Ruzomberok was badly defeated 79-60 on the opponent's court by the leading Kayseri in the group H of Eurocup. This year Andersson averages: 5.3ppg, 3.0rpg, 2FGP: 35.3% and FT: 57.1% in the nine games. She is also a member of the Swedish senior national team.

#4. Swingman Jelena Jakovljevic (179-95, currently plays in Serbia), who plays in the Serbian A League was not able to secure a victory for Beocin (4-15) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Jakovljevic's very good performance Beocin was defeated 83-72 in Jagodina by the second-ranked 2001. She was the top scorer with 17 points. Jakovljevic's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Jakovljevic's overall stats this season are: 6.3ppg and 2.1rpg. She has a dual citizenship: Swedish and Serbian. Jakovljevic is also Swedish U18 national team player.

Binta Drammeh
Binta Drammeh
#5. U20 international forward Binta Drammeh (180-92, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German DBBL couldn't help Don Bosco Bamberg in their last game. Despite her very good performance the league leader Don Bosco Bamberg lost 59-72 in Wasserburg to the leading TSV 1880. Drammeh was the second best scorer with 17 points. She also added 9 rebounds in 22 minutes. Drammeh has relatively good stats this year: 12.5ppg, 7.5rpg and 1.5apg in the four games. She plays currently for the Swedish U20 national team.

One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Swedish passport:

#1. Erika Persson (178-G-88, currently plays in Canada), who plays in the Canadian university league CIS could not help the Waterloo University (4-14) to beat the Western (2-16). Persson scored only 4 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. The Waterloo University (#7) was crushed 73-30 on the road by the Western. It was Waterloo University's third consecutive loss in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Persson's overall stats this season are: 8.1ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.7apg.
