Michael Palm
33-year old center Michael Palm (209-C-79, agency: R.H.Consultancy) put on an amazing game in the last round for Boras and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 27.
He had a double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out Eagles (#10, 5-22) 81-79. Boras maintains the 3rd position in Swedish league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Boras will need more victories to improve their 19-8 record. In the team's last game Palm had a remarkable 64.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Boras, through which he has constantly improved. Western Washington graduate has very impressive stats this year. Palm is in league's top in points (4th best: 19.3ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 9.9rpg) and averages solid 1.3bpg and 60.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Brandon McKnight (188-PG-83) of Eagles. He is American guard in his first season at Eagles. In the last game McKnight recorded impressive 24 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Bad luck as Eagles was edged by the higher-ranked Boras (#3, 19-8) 81-79. Eagles is still second from the bottom in . 22 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories Eagles managed to get this year. McKnight is one of the most experienced players at Eagles and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Jakob Sigurdarson (192-PG-82) of league's leader Sundsvall. Sigurdarson got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds . He was a key player of Sundsvall, leading his team to a 82-76 win against the lower-ranked Eco Orebro (#11, 5-22). Sundsvall confirms their top position in Sigurdarson has a great season in Sweden. After 26 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.2ppg (5th best).

9. Kodi Augustus (203-F-87) of 08 - 23 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Kim Palmqvist (200-F-88) of Nassjo - 25 points

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
  




Adnan Chuk
Adnan Chuk extends deal with Norrkoping - May 24, 2016

Adnan Chuk has agreed on terms of contract extension with Norrkoping. The head coach has penned a new two-year deal with the Dolphins. Adnan Chuk took over Norrkoping at the start of the last season. He guided the team at 20-10 record in Basketligan regular season. The Dolphins then advanced into Basketligan Finals losing to Sodertalje.   [read more]

Michael Palm
Palm re-signs at Boras - May 24, 2016

Boras Basket (Basketligan) confirmed in their roster 37-year old Swedish ex-international center Michael Palm (210-105kg-79, college: W.Washington). He is a dual citizen owning also American passport. Palm has played there for the last seven seasons. In 39 Basketligan games he had 10.5ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.4apg last season. Dino Cinac
Cinac comes back to Jamtland, ex KK Zagreb - May 19, 2016

KFUM Jamtland Basket (Basketligan) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old Croatian forward Dino Cinac (201-88). It is actually his comeback to KFUM Jamtland as he played here before. Cinac played most recently at KK Zagreb in Croatian A1 league. In 14 games he recorded 7.3ppg and 3.4rpg last season. He also played at KFUM Jamtland that season.
