Earnesia
Williams
25-year old forward Earnesia Williams (185-F-87) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Visby and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 23.
She had a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds, while her team beat Sallen (7-15) 74-65. Visby is placed at 8th position in Swedish Damligan. Visby is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-15 record. Williams turned to be Visby's top player in her first season with the team. The University of Texas graduate has very impressive stats this year. Williams. Williams is in league's top in points (3rd best: 21.3ppg) and averages solid 50.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Rashada McCants (185-G/F-86) of top-ranked Telge. She is American swingman in her first season at Telge. In the last game McCants recorded impressive 21 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course she lead Telge to another comfortable win 78-64 over the lower-ranked Udominate (#5, 12-10) being unquestionably team leader. Of course Telge still keep the league's top spot. Her team belongs to top of the standings with 20-2 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. McCants is a newcomer at Telge and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.1ppg (#6). Her other stats are also decent: 7.3rpg and 3.2apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Elisabeth Egnell (185-F-87) of league's second-best Norrkoping. Egnell showcased her all-around game by recording 17 points, eleven rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. She was a key player of Norrkoping, leading her team to a 67-50 easy win against the lower-ranked Jarfalla (#10, 7-15). Many experts and fans count Norrkoping as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 20 victories and only two lost games.. Egnell has a great season in Sweden. After 20 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.6ppg (5th best). She also has 2.9spg and FGP: 57.0%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Frida Aili (179-G-88) of Northland - 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists
5. Anna Spyridopoulou (184-F-88) of Solna Vikings - 11 points and 14 rebounds
6. Amber Petillon (193-F/C-82) of Mark Basket - 12 points and 9 rebounds
7. Angel Robinson (172-G-89) of Telge - 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
