Kodi
Augustus
American forward Kodi Augustus (203-F-87, agency: Two Points) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for 08, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 28.
The 25-year old player had a double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Nassjo (#12, 5-23) 87-76. 08 maintains the 7th position in Swedish Basketligan. 08 is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 13-15 record. In the team's last game Augustus had a remarkable 64.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be 08's top player in his first season with the team. Former Mississippi State University star has very solid stats this year. Augustus is in league's top in points (7th best: 17.3ppg) and averages impressive 1.9bpg,57.7% FGP and 42.0% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was 25-year old American Henry Dugat (183-G-87) of LF Basket. Dugat had a very good evening with a double-double of 34 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as LF Basket lost that game 83-89 to the higher-ranked Sundsvall (#1, 24-4). LF Basket is still in a red zone at 8th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 11-16 record. Dugat is a newcomer at LF Basket, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.0ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 5.6rpg and 4.5apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward William Walker (200-F-87, agency: Warren Sports International) of Nassjo (#12). Walker showcased his all-around game by recording 27 points, twelve rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. Despite Walker's great performance Nassjo lost 76-87 to the higher-ranked 08 (#7, 13-15). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Nassjo can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 5-23 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Too bad for Walker he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Walker has individually a great season in Sweden. After 28 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.6rpg (4th best). Walker attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Michael Cuffee (195-G-83) of Sundsvall - 30 points and 12 rebounds
5. Tobias Borg (183-PG-93) of Sodertalje - 27 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists
6. James Miller (180-PG-79) of Boras - 29 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists
7. Jakob Sigurdarson (192-PG-82) of Sundsvall - 30 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists
8. Boakai Lalugba (202-F/C-81) of Jamtland - 20 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Hlynur Baeringsson (200-F-82) of Sundsvall - 16 points and 13 rebounds
10. Stavros Toutziarakis (210-C-87) of Solna - 19 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
