The Regular Season in Basketligan is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 4 rounds.

The game between third ranked Boras Basket (20-9) and eleventh ranked Nassjo (6-23) was the most important one in the last round on Tuesday night. Boras Basket was defeated by Nassjo in a tough game in Nassjo 78-84. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Boras Basket. Boras Basket was trailing by 12 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 27-20 charge of Nassjo, which allowed them to win the game. They made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Nassjo had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward William Walker (200-87, college: Bethel, IN, agency: Warren Sports International) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds. Canadian point guard Tut Ruach (188-85) chipped in 26 points and 5 rebounds. The former international center Michael Palm (209-79, college: W.Washington, agency: R.H.Consultancy) produced a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds for the guests. Nassjo moved-up to tenth place. Boras Basket at the other side dropped to the fourth position with nine games lost. Nassjo are looking forward to face higher ranked KFUM Jamtland (#9) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Boras Basket will play against Solna Vikings (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Uppsala Basket (21-8) against fourth ranked Sodertalje Kings (20-7) on Tuesday night. Visiting Uppsala Basket was defeated by Sodertalje Kings in a tough game in Sodertalje 69-73. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Uppsala Basket. American center Kenneth Simms (203-86, college: Cumberland) orchestrated the victory by scoring 8 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. Dino Pita contributed with 17 points for the winners. American point guard Thomas Jackson (175-80, college: Butler) answered with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for Uppsala Basket. Sodertalje Kings have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Uppsala Basket at the other side keeps the second position with eight games lost. Sodertalje Kings will play against LF Basket (#8) in Lulea in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Uppsala Basket will play at home against White Eagles (#11) in Stockholm and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Leader Sundsvall Dragons delivered the twentieth fifth victory on Tuesday night. This time they beat 9th ranked KFUM Jamtland (7-22) 108-90. Hlynur Baeringsson stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Sundsvall Dragons' coach Peter Oqvist used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Boakai Lalugba responded with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Sundsvall Dragons have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 25-4 record. KFUM Jamtland lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 22 games lost. Sundsvall Dragons will meet Sodertalje Kings (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. KFUM Jamtland will play against Nassjo (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Lulea was also worth to mention about. 7th ranked 08 Stockholm (13-16) played at the court of eighth ranked LF Basket (12-16). LF Basket managed to secure a 9-point victory 70-61. Andreas Person nailed 15 points for the winning side. LF Basket maintains eighth place with 12-16 record. 08 Stockholm at the other side keeps the seventh position with 16 games lost. LF Basket's next round opponent will be higher ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (#5) in Norrkoping and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Orebro. Local Eco Orebro (5-24) was outscored by fifth ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (19-9) 94-70 on Sunday night. The best player for the winners was Edgars Jeromanovs who scored 23 points and 7 assists. Norrkoping Dolphins have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains fifth place with 19-9 record. Eco Orebro lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom. Norrkoping Dolphins will face LF Basket (#8) in Lulea in the next round. Eco Orebro will play on the road against 08 Stockholm (#7).

In the last game of round 29 Eagles was defeated by Solna in a road game 88-76.



LF Basket - 08 70-61

The game in Lulea was also worth to mention about. 7th ranked 08 Stockholm (13-16) played at the court of eighth ranked LF Basket (12-16). LF Basket managed to secure a 9-point victory 70-61. 08 Stockholm was ahead by 1 point after three quarters before a 23-13 charge of LF Basket, which allowed them to win the game. International point guard Andreas Person (190-91) nailed 15 points for the winning side and Irish forward Conor Grace (210-82, college: Davidson) accounted for 12 points and 6 rebounds. Naturalized Serbian forward Bojan Cvilak (200-82) came up with 17 points and 8 rebounds and the former international center Joakim Blom (211-76, agency: Court Side) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for 08 Stockholm in the defeat. LF Basket maintains eighth place with 12-16 record. 08 Stockholm at the other side keeps the seventh position with 16 games lost. LF Basket's next round opponent will be higher ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (#5) in Norrkoping and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.

Sundsvall Dragons led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. There was no surprise when 10th ranked White Eagles (5-24) were defeated on the road by sixth ranked Solna Vikings (19-10) 88-76 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Solna Vikings. White Eagles was better in second period 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Solna Vikings shot 62.5 percent from the field. Solna Vikings outrebounded White Eagles 37-23 including a 30-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Tokyo Cinq Reves (B League D3) signed 24-year old American forward R.J. Slawson (206-100kg-92, college: Jacksonville). He played last season at Hogsbo in Swedish Basketettan.
