Andersson
There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Basketettan. There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with derby games, favorites losing the games, games ending by tiny margin and even winless team recording their first victory.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Taby Basket as it allowed them to take a leadership position in North. Taby Basket smashed 12th ranked Jarva Devils at home 105-66. The game was mostly controlled by Taby Basket. Jarva Devils managed to win fourth quarter 25-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Taby Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Jarva Devils' 40. They outrebounded Jarva Devils 44-25 including a 30-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Taby Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Jarva Devils' players. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Erik Andersson (197-87) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Jimmy Lundin (184-90) who added 6 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists during the contest. Center Sermed Hasan (208-91) responded with 13 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with LF Future. Jarva Devils lost fifteenth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 19 games lost. Jarva Devils will play next round against Fryshuset trying to get back on the winning streak. Taby Basket will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
Seventh-ranked Hoganas (9-11) gave a tough game to third ranked Boras II (14-5). Boras II managed to secure only one-point victory 82-81. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hoganas. The winners were led by point guard Emil Lundstedt (178-94) who scored that evening 27 points and 4 assists and Robin Ryan supported him with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 14 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists by Lithuanian power forward Linas Savickas (197-79) did not help to save the game for Hoganas. Boras II have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in South. Hoganas at the other side keep the seventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Eskilstuna. Boras II will play against league's leader Brahe Basket in Huskvarna in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hoganas will play on the road against Sanda Basket (#12) in Huskvarna and hope to get back on the winning track.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked IK Eos (14-6) against seventh ranked Hoganas (9-11) on Saturday night. Visiting IK Eos were defeated by Hoganas in Hoganas 83-72. The best player for the winners was Evaldas Juozapaitis who scored 38 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Adnan Karovic produced 18 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Hoganas will meet Sanda Basket (#12) in the next round where they are favorite. IK Eos will play against Hogsbo (#10) in Goteborg and hope to secure a win.
Sanda Basket has finally registered their first victory this season after 19 consecutive loses. The win is especially important as they edged much higher ranked Malbas (12-8)on the road game in Malmo 68-67. Alexander Russom saved the victory by scoring 26 points and 5 rebounds. Sanda Basket's coach Linda Lojdmark used entire bench in such tough game. Sanda Basket maintains twelfth position in South with 1-19 record. Malbas at the other side keep the fourth place with eight games lost. Sanda Basket's next round opponent will be higher ranked Hoganas (#8) at home and it may be quite challenging game.
Basketettan top team - Brahe Basket (15-4) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat sixth ranked Haga Haninge (10-11) in Huskvarna 91-84. Worth to mention a quality performance of Tanju Yulman who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 6 rebounds.
