The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked BC Lulea (17-4) on the court of sixth ranked Nassjo on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by Nassjo 90-76. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of BC Lulea. The game was mostly controlled by Nassjo. BC Lulea managed to win third quarter 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Nassjo dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to BC Lulea's 36. It was a good game for American center Dartaye Ruffin (205-91, college: Drexel, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). The other American import guard Reginald Johnson (191-94, college: Hampton) contributed with 17 points, 6 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Nassjo's coach Felix Alonso used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Brandon Rozzell (188-89, college: VCU) replied with 17 points and 5 assists for BC Lulea. Nassjo maintains sixth position with 11-11 record. BC Lulea at the other side still keeps top place with four games lost. Nassjo are looking forward to face higher ranked Boras Basket (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. BC Lulea will play against Uppsala Basket (#4) and is hoping to win this game.

Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Axel Nordstrom (193-91) who helped to win the game recording 11 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and Carl Engstrom who added 13 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Uppsala Basket's coach Kevin Gaines allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American forward Cole Darling (203-91, college: Wright St., agency: Dynamics Global Management) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Uppsala Basket moved-up to fourth place. Norrkoping Dolphins at the other side keep the second position with six games lost. Uppsala Basket will play against league's leader BC Lulea on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Norrkoping Dolphins will play against Malbas and hope to get back on the winning track.

KFUM Jamtland's coach Torbjorn Gehrke felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 7 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists by Josh Wolfram did not help to save the game for Umea. KFUM Jamtland have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 10-10 record. Loser Umea keeps the eighth place with 17 games lost. KFUM Jamtland will meet higher ranked Sodertalje Kings (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Umea will play against Sodertalje Kings (#3) and hope to secure a win.

In the last game of round 24 Sodertalje smashed Malbas on the road 90-61.

Jamtland - Umea 103-71

The game between seventh ranked KFUM Jamtland (10-10) and 8th ranked Umea (4-17) in Jamtland on Friday ended with biggest points difference. KFUM Jamtland outscored guests from Umea 103-71. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 103-71. KFUM Jamtland dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Umea's 30 and made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. KFUM Jamtland forced 24 Umea turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by American guard Jabril Durham (185-94, college: Arkansas) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Croatian forward Dino Cinac (201-88) supported him with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Four KFUM Jamtland players scored in double figures. KFUM Jamtland's coach Torbjorn Gehrke felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Sodertalje Kings (11-5) crushed bottom-ranked Malbas (1-19) in Malmo 90-61 on Friday. The game without a history. Sodertalje Kings led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The winners were led by Croatian forward Toni Bizaca (202-82, agency: XL Basketball Agency) who scored that evening 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and point guard Valter Lindstrom (180-95) supported him with 19 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Even 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by American guard Adrian Rodgers (194-92, college: Southern, agency: Three Eye Sports) did not help to save the game for Malbas. Danish guard Sebastian Petersen (188-95, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sodertalje Kings have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Malbas lost twelfth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 19 lost games. Sodertalje Kings will meet at home Umea (#8) in the next round where they are favorite. Malbas will play against the league's second-placed Norrkoping Dolphins in Norrkoping and hope to win that game.
