Top ranked BC Lulea (18-5) recorded its fifth loss in Malmo on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by ninth ranked Malbas (2-20) 81-77. The hosts trailed by 10 points after three quarters before their 27-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Malbas shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 63.6 percentage. The best player for the winners was guard Jordan Peltier (193-95) who scored 26 points (perfect from downtown making all five shots). Danish center Lasse Elbaek (208-94) chipped in 15 points and 12 rebounds. Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Malbas maintains ninth position with 2-20 record. BC Lulea at the other side still keeps top place with five games lost. Malbas are looking forward to face higher ranked Boras Basket (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. BC Lulea will play against KFUM Jamtland (#6) and is hoping to win this game.
Important game to mention about took place in Uppsala. Fifth ranked Uppsala Basket (12-9) saved a 3-point victory at home edging one of their biggest challengers Boras Basket (12-11) 76-73 in the fight for the fourth place. The former international point guard Jonathan Person (190-93, agency: Interperformances) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points. Carl Engstrom contributed with 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Uppsala Basket's coach Kevin Gaines allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The former international Christian Maraker (207-82, college: Pacific) replied with 22 points and 9 rebounds for Boras Basket. Uppsala Basket moved-up to fourth place. Boras Basket at the other side dropped to the fifth position with 11 games lost. Uppsala Basket will play against Nassjo (#7) at home in the next round. Boras Basket will play against Malbas in Malmo and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Visiting Norrkoping Dolphins were crushed by KFUM Jamtland in Jamtland 83-59. Jaan Puidet scored 14 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. Joakim Kjellbom responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Norrkoping Dolphins' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. KFUM Jamtland moved-up to sixth place. Loser Norrkoping Dolphins keep the second position with seven games lost. KFUM Jamtland will meet at home league's leader BC Lulea in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Norrkoping Dolphins will play against Umea and hope to secure a win.
The game in Umea supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Sodertalje Kings (14-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Umea (4-19). Sodertalje Kings smashed Umea 102-59. Valter Lindstrom notched 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort. Sodertalje Kings' coach Vedran Bosnic felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sodertalje Kings have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains third position with 14-5 record having 4 victories less than leader BC Lulea. Umea lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 19 games lost. Sodertalje Kings will have a break next round. Umea will play at home against the league's second-placed Norrkoping Dolphins (#2) and hope to win that game.

The best stats of 26th round was 12 points and 5 rebounds by Adam Ramstedt of Sodertalje.

Jamtland - Norrkoping 83-59

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (15-7) against seventh ranked KFUM Jamtland (11-11) on Tuesday night. Visiting Norrkoping Dolphins were crushed by KFUM Jamtland in Jamtland 83-59. The game was mostly controlled by KFUM Jamtland. Norrkoping Dolphins managed to win second period 12-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KFUM Jamtland made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. Estonian swingman Jaan Puidet (191-92) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Preston Purifoy (196-92, college: UAB) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four KFUM Jamtland players scored in double figures. The former international center Joakim Kjellbom (212-79, college: N.Arizona) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and Danish guard Mikkel Plannthin (195-88, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 7 points and 4 assists. The game in Umea supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Sodertalje Kings (14-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Umea (4-19). Sodertalje Kings smashed Umea 102-59. The game without a history. Sodertalje Kings led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Umea's 22. Point guard Valter Lindstrom (180-95) notched 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Adam Ramstedt (208-95) supported him with 12 points and 5 rebounds.
