The game between Top Four teams took place in Norrkoping. Second ranked host Norrkoping Dolphins (17-7) defeated one of their biggest challengers Sodertalje Kings (15-7) 73-62. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Joakim Kjellbom (212-79, college: N.Arizona) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and American forward Cole Darling (203-91, college: Wright St., agency: Dynamics Global Management) who added 20 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side point guard Valter Lindstrom (180-95) responded with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Norrkoping Dolphins maintains second position with 17-7 record having four points less than leader BC Lulea. Defending champion Sodertalje Kings keep the third place with seven games lost. Norrkoping Dolphins will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BC Lulea's coach Peter Oqvist felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 12 points and 9 rebounds by center Andre Nilsson (209-90) did not help to save the game for Umea. BC Lulea maintains first position with 20-5 record. Umea lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 21 games lost. BC Lulea will play against Sodertalje Kings (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked Boras Basket (13-12) was defeated at home by sixth ranked KFUM Jamtland (13-12) 93-79. The game was mostly controlled by KFUM Jamtland. Boras Basket was better in third quarter 20-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Icelandic point guard Jakob Sigurdarson (192-82, college: Birm.Southern) added 23 points for lost side. Boras Basket's coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KFUM Jamtland moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Boras.
