Dino Pita
Dino Pita
#1. This week's number one is an international guard Dino Pita (195-88, currently plays in Poland). He was the major contributor in Krosno's victory against the 15th-ranked AZS Polfarmex (4-16) 70-51 in the Polish PLK last Wednesday. Pita scored 14 points, grabbed 6 boards, dished 3 assists and stole 3 balls. Miasto Szkla Krosno (13-8) is placed fifth in the PLK. This season Pita averages: 7.5ppg, 2.4rpg, 1.5apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 52.9%, 3FGP: 39.3% and FT: 81.8%. He has a dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Swedish. Ex-Sodertalje Kings player is currently a member of the Swedish senior national team.

Pierre Hampton
Pierre Hampton
#2. Second place goes to former international forward Pierre Hampton (201-91, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in United Kingdom). Hampton recorded 20 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 29 minutes. Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders (19-2) is placed first in the BBL. It was his team's ninth consecutive victory in a row. It's Hampton's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year: 10.3ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.1apg, 2FGP: 56.6%(69-122), 3FGP: 28.2% and FT: 74.5% in 20 games he played so far. Former Eco Orebro starter played for the Swedish national team in 2014.

Jonathan Skjoldebrand
Jonathan Skjoldebrand
#3. The Swedish player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced former international power forward Jonathan Skjoldebrand (204-83, currently plays in FIBA Europe Cup). Skjoldebrand could not help Ironi Nahariya in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his very good performance the eighth-placed Ironi Nahariya was defeated 80-65 on the road by the second-ranked Gaziantep in the group Q of FIBA Europe Cup. Skjoldebrand was the top scorer with 18 points. He also added 6 rebounds. Skjoldebrand has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 18.0ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.5apg, 3FGP: 77.8%. Skjoldebrand is another player who holds two passports: Swedish and Israeli. Former Sodertalje Kings starter played for the Swedish national team four years ago.

Marcus Eriksson
