The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

Basketettan round 7 most important game was a victory of Wetterbygden over 6th ranked Hogsbo 88-72 on Tuesday night. The game without a history. Wetterbygden led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Hogsbo's 24. They outrebounded Hogsbo 45-29 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Albin Hall-Eriksson (187-96) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Mathias Liljeqvist (196-92) contributed with 11 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Guard Lukas Brehm (191-91) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for Hogsbo. Wetterbygden (4-6) moved-up to fourth place in Superettan. Hogsbo at the other side dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. Wetterbygden will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Hogsbo will play on the road against the league's leader Djurgarden (#1) and is hoping to win this game.
Important game to mention about took place in Lund. First ranked IK Eos (12-1) saved a 3-point victory at home edging their biggest opponent Eskilstuna (11-2) 112-109 in the fight for the first place. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Eskilstuna. It was a key game for the top position in BEHS forts. It was a great evening for guard Gustav Sundstrom (197-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Adnan Karovic helped adding 19 points and 9 assists. IK Eos' coach Axel Wallin used entire bench in such tough game. At the losing side British-Cameroonian forward Franck Kouagnia (201-89) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists. IK Eos have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place in BEHS forts with 12-1 record. Eskilstuna at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. IK Eos will play against Helsingborg (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Eskilstuna will play against Huddinge and hopes to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Talje between RIG Mark and Talje Knights. Seventh ranked RIG Mark (4-10) got a very close victory on the road over 6th ranked Talje Knights (3-10). RIG Mark managed to escape with a 3-point win 66-63 in the fight for the sixth place. It was an exceptional evening for Kevin Senghore-Peterson who led the winners and scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Oskar Holm came up with 24 points and 8 rebounds for Talje Knights in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. RIG Mark moved-up to sixth place in BEHS forts. Talje Knights lost their sixth game in a row. They dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. RIG Mark will meet Hoganas (#8) on the road in the next round. Talje Knights will play against the league's leader IK Eos and hope to secure a win.
An interesting game for AIK (8-1) which played road game in Trelleborg against 4th placed Trelleborg (4-6). Second ranked AIK had an easy win 102-76. Serkan Inan fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted AIK maintains second place in Superettan with 8-1 record having 4 victories less than leader IK Eos. Trelleborg at the other side dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. AIK's next round opponent will be league's leader Djurgarden at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Trelleborg will play again against the league's second-placed AIK (#2) in Solna and hope to win that game.
And finally the game worth to mention about is Alvik Basket's 32-point blow over 5th ranked LF Future 105-73. It was a very good performance for Richard Hartmann who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Alvik Basket maintains eighth place in Superettan with 2-8 record. Loser LF Future dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Alvik Basket will have a break next round.

Other games in round 7 were not that significant.
In BEHS forts Helsingborg beat Hoganas on the road 84-73. Hoganas lost to Lobas on its own court 68-72. RIG Mark unfortunately lost to Huddinge in a road game 75-85.
In BEHN forts BG Lulea recorded a loss to KFUM Fryshuset at home 74-90. KFUM Uppsala defeated KFUM Blackeberg on the opponent's court 74-62.
In Superettan Koping smashed LF Future in a home game 90-68. Djurgarden destroyed Wetterbygden on the road 110-65.

Hoganas - Helsingborg 73-84

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Helsingborg (9-7) beat on the road 8th ranked Hoganas (2-11) 84-73 on Tuesday. The guests trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 53-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Helsingborg made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Hoganas turnovers. Strangely Hoganas outrebounded Helsingborg 39-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Hoganas were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for guard Anton Persson (180-97) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 7 assists. Guard Erik Joelsson (196-97) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Lithuanian center Martynas Kuksta (203-89) answered with 37 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds (on 16-of-18 shooting from the field) and Lithuanian guard Aurimas Bulsis (196-91) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Hoganas. Helsingborg maintains third place in BEHS forts with 9-7 record despite having the same number of points like the leader IK Eos. Hoganas lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 11 games lost. Helsingborg will face league's leader IK Eos in Lund in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hoganas will play at home against RIG Mark (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

An interesting game for AIK (8-1) which played road game in Trelleborg against 4th placed Trelleborg (4-6). Second ranked AIK had an easy win 102-76. The game without a history. AIK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. AIK outrebounded Trelleborg 39-27 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international guard Serkan Inan (201-86) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Turkish guard Erkan Inan (195-89) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. Five AIK players scored in double figures. Guard Papy Ndiaye (187-94) produced 26 points and 7 rebounds and guard Jordan-Gerami Lou (-97) added 13 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted AIK maintains second place in Superettan with 8-1 record having 4 victories less than leader IK Eos. Trelleborg at the other side dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. AIK's next round opponent will be league's leader Djurgarden at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Trelleborg will play again against the league's second-placed AIK (#2) in Solna and hope to win that game.

And finally the game worth to mention about is Alvik Basket's 32-point blow over 5th ranked LF Future 105-73. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 32 points. Alvik Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to LF Future's 36 and made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Alvik Basket forced 20 LF Future turnovers and outrebounded them 43-23 including a 31-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Alvik Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by LF Future's players. It was a very good performance for forward Richard Hartmann (203-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Jacob Andersson (196-89, college: CS San Marcos) contributed with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Djurgarden led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They were well out of reach of Wetterbygden shooting 71.7 percent from the field. Djurgarden had a 30-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Wetterbygden's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Djurgarden made 8 blocks. Quite impressive performance for American power forward Joseph Taylor (203-85, college: Wyoming) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 blocks. Guard Brandon Barton (192-88, agency: Diamond Sports) contributed with 25 points and 6 assists (perfect from the field making all twelve shots !!!) for the winners.
