The Regular Season in Basketligan is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 4 rounds.

Top ranked BC Lulea (21-7) recorded its seventh loss on the court of sixth ranked Boras Basket on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by Boras Basket 99-90. The game without a history. Boras Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 28-of-34 free shots (82.4 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Boras Basket especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. 25 personal fouls committed by BC Lulea helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American guard Jerome Seagears (185-92, college: UNLV, agency: Diamond Sports) who scored 25 points and 6 rebounds. Icelandic point guard Jakob Sigurdarson (192-82, college: Birm.Southern) chipped in 23 points and 4 assists. American guard Brandon Rozzell (188-89, college: VCU) produced 29 points and 5 assists for the guests. BC Lulea's coach Peter Oqvist rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Boras Basket maintains sixth position with 15-14 record. BC Lulea at the other side still keeps top place with seven games lost. Boras Basket will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BC Lulea will play at home against Nassjo and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Sodertalje Kings (19-8) against fourth ranked Uppsala Basket (17-10) on Tuesday night. Visiting Sodertalje Kings were crushed by Uppsala Basket in Uppsala 84-54. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Sodertalje Kings. The former international center Carl Engstrom (216-91, college: Alabama) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Alexander Lindqvist contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. International center Nicholas Spires (210-94) replied with 11 points and 6 rebounds for Sodertalje Kings. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Uppsala Basket have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 17-10 record. Defending champion Sodertalje Kings keep the second place with eight games lost. They share the position with Norrkoping. Uppsala Basket will play against league's second-placed Norrkoping Dolphins in Norrkoping in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Sodertalje Kings will play at home against Malbas and hope to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked Malbas managed to get a third victory, breaking the five-game losing streak on Tuesday night. This time they won against eighth-ranked Umea in Malmo 93-84. Worth to mention a great performance of Adrian Rodgers who helped to win the game recording 26 points. Malbas' coach Henrik Svensson used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Terrence Oglesby responded with 25 points. Malbas maintains ninth position with 3-25 record. Umea lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 25 games lost. Malbas will meet higher ranked Sodertalje Kings (#3) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
