Lugano Tigers defended their LNA title. They overcame Fribourg 3-1 in
the championship series repeating the last seasons result.

Lugano showed their ambitions early in the game. They limited Fribourg
to 12 points in the opening period and got a 6-point advantage. Things
got better offensively for the hosts in the second term. Fribourg nailed
26 points in the second quarter and cut the distance to just 2 points at
the interval 38:40. Fribourg eventually erased the deficit in the third
stanza. Lugano and Fribourg were tied at 58 entering the final quarter.
But
Michael Efevberha and his teammates proved the strength in the
fourth term. The Tigers erupted for 22 points and ran away for the
victory at the end.

Lugano claimed the League Cup title. They overcame Fribourg in the
championship clash yesterday. The Tigers also avenged the last seasons
loss to Benetton in the Final.

Lugano ensured a quick start in this one. They dominated throughout the
opening period posting a 21:15 lead after ten minutes. Fribourg however
slowed their opponents down in the second term as the teams traded

42:36. Lugano stiffened their defense in the third term. They limited
Fribourg to 13 points in the quarter boosting the margin to 9 points at
the final intermission. Fribourg never recovered in the fourth period
