Nikola Dacevic (205-G/F-79) tallied 15 points, 7 boards, 7 assists and 5 steals for the defending champions. Duane Erwin had 14 points and 8 rebounds in the victory. Pierre Wooten dropped 17 points for Boncourt in defeat.
MGS - Lugano Tigers 71-100 Lugano posted the second win in a row as they thrashed MGS on the road. Dusan Mladjan (199-G-86, agency: Interperformances) knocked down 23 points for the Tigers. Derek Stockalper added 18 points in the win. Karon Bradley and Jeremiah Boswell responded with 15 points each for MGS.
Monthey - Lausanne 75-68 Monthey overcame Lausanne before the home fans. Sebastien Maio (190-G-78) knocked down 19 points for the winners. Jean-Richard Volcy and Kareem Johnson netted 14 points each as Monthey improved at 2-1 record. Lausanne responded with 17 points from Ismael N'Diaye. Alex Thompson produced 13 points and 15 boards in the third consecutive loss for Lausanne.
BBC Nyon - Geneva Devils 75-62 Nyon secured the third straight victory in teh championship as they romped past Geneva Devils. Germayne Forbes (186-G-80, college: W.Georgia) paced balanced effort with 18 points. Cedric Mafuta, Josh Almanson and Austin Johnson added 13 points in the victory. Yannick Zachee netted 19 points in the loss.
SAM Massagno - Starwings 82-76 SAM Massagno snapped two-game losing skid and celerbated the first win in the season. They prevailed against Starwings at home court. Daniel Fitzgerald (206-F-84, agency: Court Side, college: Marquette) came up with 20 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Vernon Hamilton had 18 points in the winning effort. Nenad Delic responded with 27 points in the loss.

MGS continued to further strengthen their roster. Lately they signed a deal with Brian Gilmore (203-F). The 203cm forward graduated from the American University this summer. He averaged 12.5 points, 5.4 boards and 2.0 assists per game for the Eagles in his senior season. Brian Gilmore was named to the Patriot League All-Tournament Team. Gilmore is expected to join MGS during the Swiss Cup game against Lausanne. [read more]

While playing 34 games for Lugano Tigers his stats were: 13.2ppg, 4.1rpg, 5.2apg (5th best in the league) and 3.1spg (3rd best in the league).
