Helios clinched LNA title. They overcame Fribourg in the fourth game of the title series to claim the trophy. Helios thus completed the triple winning League Cup, Swiss Cup and LNA titles. Renee Taylor (158-G-85, agency: Merit Sports, college: Miami, FL) stepped up with 22 points to pace the winners.
Helios left the hosts far behind in the opening quarter. The visitors gained a 27:11 lead after ten minutes. Fribourg stopped the bleeding in the second term. The home team managed to narrow the deficit cutting the deficit at 10-point mark 29:39. But the third term belonged to Helios. They fired past the home side to accumulate a 56:39 advantage. Helios demolished their opponents with an 18:8 run in the fourth term to celebrate the title. Mandisa Stevenson (191-C-82, college: Auburn) had 16 points, while Karen Twehues (182-G-83, college: Cincinnati) added 12 points in the victory. Maria Villarroel (174-G-78, agency: LBM Management, college: Oklahoma) answered with 18 points for Fribourg. Lisa Mazzocchi (170-G/F-90) had 10 points in the losing effort.

American Asia Logan (184-F-92) had an amazing evening in the last round for Pully and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 16. The 24-year old forward had the game-high 41 points adding nine rebounds and six assists for Pully in her team's victory, helping them to edge out Bellinzona (#7, 4-10) 90-89. The most exciting game of round 16 in the LNA took place in Bellinzona. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 7th ranked Bellinzona (4-10) to sixth ranked Pully (6-8) 90-89 on Saturday evening. Pully moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Winterthur. Bellinzona at the other side keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. They share it with BBC Troist.. Elfic Fribourg-Helios 67-56 Elfic Fribourg have won Swiss Basketball League Cup defeating the rivals Helios 67-56. Trailing 3 points at the end of the first period, Fribourg posted a massive 27-17 surge to take a 7-point halftime advantage. Helios again grabbed the lead back after a 15-7 burst in the third quarter but could not win the game. Due to 21-9 surge in the last period, Elfic Fribourg clinched the trophy.
