Matt Schneiderman (204-F/C-81, college: N.Iowa) will stay with SAV Vacallo for at least one more year. The player signed contract extension today. Schneiderman arrived to the club last summer from Lugano Tigers. He appeared 27 times in LNA averaging 13.9 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists. The player was awarded with Eurobasket.com All-Swiss LNA Honorable Mention. A year ago with Lugano, Schneiderman won the LNA title, Swiss Cup and Liga Cup trophies. He won the LNA championship also with SAV Vacallo three years ago. In 2010, Matt Schneiderman was named Eurobasket.com All-Swiss LNA Forward of the Year. He averaged 17.4 points and 5.5 rebounds for 37 games with SAV Vacallo. In the past, Schneiderman played for Monthey, Reims (France) and Lausanne. He graduated at the University of Northern Iowa in 2005.
