There are only two more rounds left in the Second Stage in LNA. The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Aarau as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Places 1-5. Aarau smashed 4th ranked Geneve Basket at home 79-55. The game was mostly controlled by Aarau. Geneve Basket managed to win fourth quarter 17-16. Power forward Marielle Giroud (182-F/C-87) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Helios, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 3 (Second Stage). LNA is at the halfway of the Second Stage and there are still another 3 rounds left. The most important game of round 3 took place in Fribourg of Places 1-5 where Fribourg crushed Aarau (2-1) 82-44 on Sunday night. The game without a history.
